Vietnam Tourism 2021 is expected to have many breakthroughs, starting with the Vietnam Wonders project implemented by the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism and Google Arts & Culture on an online platform. The project includes more than 1,000 photos in panorama format divided into different themes, to honor Vietnam's tangible and intangible heritages recognized by UNESCO. Among them, mainly photos of the Central region were taken by photographer Tran Tuan Viet - who has won an award from National Geographic.

The journey begins with “8 things to know about Vietnam”, or “5 things you should do at the beginning of the new year” with interesting information about Vietnam’s history, culture, customs, and cuisine, followed by images of majestic nature playing along with traditional Vietnamese songs by region and theme as well as interactive features that allow users to experience the wonders in a modern way in the technology era and post-Covid period.
Hoi An is introduced in the project "Google Arts and Culture - Wonders of Vietnam".
Tu Duc Tomb - Hue is introduced in the project "Google Arts and Culture - Wonders of Vietnam".
This collection is currently available at more than 2,000 museums, allowing viewers to access, enjoy and explore.
