Vietnam's tourism industry in 2021 is predicted to see many breakthroughs, beginning with the "Wonders of Vietnam" project, implemented by the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism in collaboration with Google Arts & Culture on an online platform. The project includes over 1000 panoramic photos divided into different themes, aiming to celebrate Vietnam's tangible and intangible heritage recognized by UNESCO. Among these, the majority are photos of Central Vietnam taken by award-winning National Geographic photographer Tran Tuan Viet.

The journey begins with "8 things you should know about Vietnam," or "5 things you should do at the beginning of the new year," featuring interesting information about Vietnam's history, culture, customs, and cuisine. This is followed by stunning images of nature accompanied by traditional Vietnamese songs from different regions and themes, as well as interactive features that allow users to experience these wonders in a modern way in the technological age and post-Covid era.
