According to Mr. Nguyen Van Dung - Director of Binh Dinh Department of Tourism, this is a trial tour in early 2019 and is expected to be completed in 2021.
There are 7 rooms with different themes: exploring and learning about the universe, the Solar System, the Earth and natural resources, the laws of nature... There are 94 scientific models, most of which are made by the experts of ExploraScience Quy Nhon according to the exact size of real objects.
ExploraScience Quy Nhon Science Discovery Tour is located at the Science Discovery Center in Ghenh Rang Ward
Ms. Hoang Thi Hang, an employee of the Science Discovery Center, said: "The science popularization tool at the center is a 1.5m diameter planet-simulating sphere worth nearly 3 billion VND imported from Germany. On the sphere, images simulating many phenomena occurring on Earth (climate change, volcanoes, earthquakes, seasons of the year...) are projected. Visitors can interact directly with the sphere through a touch screen."
Most visitors here, especially children and students, are very interested in listening to the staff introduce and convey scientific knowledge.
Mr. Nguyen Van Thong (a tourist from Ho Chi Minh City) shared: "I find this place very interesting. Especially for children and students because they can play and learn new knowledge at the same time. This is a really useful place to explore."
Currently, ExploraScience Quy Nhon has built a free science experience program for groups of visitors with three contents: experiencing the galleries; participating in science shows and indoor and outdoor games.
