Trains have traditionally been a secondary mode of transportation, second only to air travel. However, train travel is set to be elevated to a new level with a journey aboard Belmond's Venice Simplon-Orient-Express. Although the Orient Express first launched in the late 1800s, departing from Paris eastward to Bulgaria and Istanbul, it wasn't until the 1920s that this famous luxury train added a southern route to Italy. This once-golden train was the sole setting in Agatha Christie's 1934 mystery novel, *Murder on the Orient Express*.

And now, that legendary carriage from the 1920s has become the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, serving tourists on a very special trip called "The Party" in March 2020. This round-trip journey will last two nights and will begin at the Belmond Cipriani Hotel in Venice, Italy, where guests will participate in a lavish party.

The following morning, travelers will board a train and journey to London to explore the prestigious "Golden Age of Charm." Along this route, the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express will take visitors through Italy, Austria, Switzerland, and France. The journey will pass through tranquil countryside, snow-capped mountains, and shimmering, glass-like frozen lakes.

Onboard, passengers will be dressed in Gatsby-style attire, along with the crew, to create a nostalgic atmosphere. The train comprises 17 vintage carriages, all completed in the 1920s, with luxurious interiors fit for the aristocracy. With its opulent classical decor, passengers can experience the vibrant life of the aristocracy of the 1920s.

Cuisine is also a highlight of this train journey. As the stunning Dolomites and Alps glide past the windows, passengers will enjoy a sumptuous three-course lunch, followed by time for drinks in Bar Car 3674. A lavish four-course dinner paired with fine wine will be followed by a lively evening party. A continental breakfast is served in the cabin, and a traditional English afternoon tea will be served before the train arrives at London Victoria Station.

The price for a “The Party” ticket starts at £3,760 per person (approximately 120 million VND), including a one-night stay at the Belmond Cipriani hotel in a Garden View room, admission to the opening party, a double cabin on the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express cruise ship, and all drinks, meals, and entertainment on board.
