Hanoi launches night tours to explore the Hoa Lo Prison historical site.

The night tour of Hoa Lo Prison historical site is for visitors aged 16 and over and will officially launch on July 24, 2020.

On June 23, the Hoa Lo Prison Relic Management Board in Hanoi announced that it will cooperate with Hanoitourist Travel Company to launch a nighttime experience program called "Sacred Night - Shining Vietnamese Spirit".

Accordingly, each night tour of the Hoa Lo Prison historical site will last 45 minutes, taking visitors back in time through a tour of the site, listening to explanations about the prison's architecture and moving stories about the struggles of political prisoners inside.

The route includes: the main gate, the men's collective prison, the political men's prison, the dungeon, the banyan tree, the underground sewers, the political women's prison, the guillotine, the death row cell for condemned prisoners, and the memorial.

In particular, the site will offer guided tours combining sound and light, awakening all the senses and emotions of visitors. After each tour, visitors will receive a gift characteristic of the historical site.

The experience program takes place from 7 PM on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays each week and is exclusively for visitors aged 16 and above. Visitors must wear appropriate attire, and are prohibited from using mobile phones, filming, or taking photos during the experience.
