Organizing a program to promote Hanoi as a cultural and tourist destination.

From June 26-28, 2020, Hanoi will host the Hanoi Cultural and Tourism Destination Promotion Program 2020 at the Ly Thai To Monument area and around Hoan Kiem Lake. Many activities will take place throughout this period to promote and introduce the culture and history of Hanoi, especially showcasing attractive and unique tourism products, and promoting Hanoi as a safe, friendly, high-quality, and appealing tourist destination. This will contribute to stimulating domestic tourism and attracting more domestic and international tourists.

Accordingly, on Dinh Tien Hoang Street, the organizing committee will introduce a number of historical and cultural sites in Hanoi such as: Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam, Hoa Lo Prison historical site, Ngoc Son Temple, Thang Long Four Fortresses, Huong Pagoda, Thay Pagoda…

On Le Thach Street, the Tourism Promotion Festival was held with 50 booths from travel companies, hotels, airlines, clubs, and tourism associations. A highlight of the festival was the introduction of Hanoi's signature non-alcoholic beverages such as: Tay Ho lotus tea, Giang coffee, Trang Tien ice cream, lotus seed and longan sweet soup, To Tich fruit salad, and other refreshing summer drinks… held in the Octagonal House area.

In addition, Vietnam Airlines Corporation, in coordination with several other units, organized booths to introduce and sell products aimed at stimulating tourism in Hanoi and products linking Hanoi's tourism with other localities.

Specifically, at 5:30 PM on June 27, 2020, the "Hanoi - A Green Destination" street culture festival, aiming to introduce Hanoi's culture and art through costumes, performance art, and props, with the participation of nearly 4,000 artists, artisans, and practitioners of cultural heritage, will take place in the area around Hoan Kiem Lake.

In addition, the program includes cultural and artistic activities, sports events, etc., and on this occasion, Hanoi will intensify the dissemination of the Code of Conduct in public places and the building of elegant and civilized Hanoi citizens through various diverse and rich forms.
