Monuments in Hanoi reopen from May 14

The Hanoi Monuments and Landscapes Management Board announced that the Temple of Literature, Ngoc Son Temple, Hoa Lo Prison and many other relics of the city will reopen from May 14.

A representative of the Hanoi Monuments and Landscapes Management Board said that reopened tourist attractions must still ensure Covid-19 prevention measures for tour guides and visitors such as wearing masks and washing hands...

At the Temple of Literature, the ticket area at the main gate will be marked with lines so that visitors can line up 1 meter apart; information boards on Covid-19 prevention and control will be prepared in Vietnamese, English, and French and placed at the entrances and stops. Visitors must wear masks, have their temperature taken, and wash their hands with antiseptic solution before entering, and groups of visitors will be limited to no more than 30 people.

"We have determined that our top priority when reopening is still ensuring epidemic prevention. The number of visitors is expected to decrease significantly compared to before," said Mr. Le Xuan Kieu, Director of the Center for Cultural and Scientific Activities of the Temple of Literature.
