Palm Jumeirah, the palm-shaped island in Dubai (UAE) and the world's largest artificial island, is a favorite vacation spot for the international super-rich.

The Palm Islands are an artificial archipelago in Dubai built by Nakheel Properties, consisting of three islands: Palm Jumeirah, Palm Jebel Ali, and Palm Deira. Construction of the complex began in 2001, but only Palm Jumeirah was completed in 2011. The remaining islands are still under construction, but their basic shapes give tourists a glimpse of their unique and magnificent appearance.

With a construction investment of over $12 billion, this structure mimics palm branches reaching towards the Persian Gulf and is one of the few structures in the world visible from the moon.

Dubai's Palm Islands boast a truly unique design, resembling crescent-shaped palm fronds when viewed from above, standing out against the clear blue sea. The construction of this archipelago has earned worldwide admiration for the extravagant spending of Middle Eastern tycoons. They reclaimed land from the sea, creating a soft yet solid shape, and then built numerous magnificent structures on it, including entertainment centers, restaurants, hotels, complexes, and luxury apartments – all incredibly modern.
