Netizens have been buzzing in recent days about a new wave blowing through the Thai music scene. This is not just a concert, but a unique artistic experience that breaks all boundaries of space and form. Instead of grand stages, people are surprised to see artists performing right on elevated trains, transforming their daily commute into a colorful musical feast.
The event brought an artistic atmosphere right onto the elevated train carriages (sky train), and attendees even got to sit close to famous artists. This unique program, called SkyTrain Music Fest, was the first of its kind in Thailand and received a warm reception from the music community. Tickets were completely sold out within just 10 hours of going on sale.
No longer confined to concerts in theaters or stadiums, audiences can now enjoy music right on the BTS Bangkok elevated train carriages.
Since mid-August, the Thai online community has been buzzing with excitement over news of a completely new type of concert. Audiences will sit on benches to watch, while the artists will move sequentially from the first carriage to the last during their performance. The train is also equipped with LED screens and speakers to allow audiences in other carriages to conveniently follow the show.
With a unique concept, the performers take turns moving through each train carriage, bringing the music closer to the audience.
To attend SkyTrain Music Fest, attendees only need to spend 2,200 baht (approximately 1.6 million VND) to own a special ticket. With this ticket, you will experience a unique concert, traveling on the BTS SkyTrain line from Mochit Station to On Nut Station and back. The train will not stop at any stations, ensuring no disruption to other passengers' schedules, while also providing attendees with a private space to enjoy the music.
State-of-the-art LED screens and sound systems are installed to cater to fans in all cabins, ensuring everyone can fully enjoy the artistic experience.
However, to register for tickets to the SkyTrain Music Fest, the organizers require a Thai national identity card. This will limit the number of foreign tourists who can participate in the experience.
