Venice Simplon-Orient-Express: A train journey back to Europe's golden age.
It's safe to say there's no train journey in Europe more wonderful than Belmond's Venice Simplon-Orient-Express. In 2021, Orient-Express will launch four new routes passing through airport terminals in Rome, Florence, Geneva, Brussels, or Amsterdam.

Operating from March to November, this newest train in the world will have a nighttime route, but the departure from Tuscan Italy is unique because it includes a stopover at the Belmond business resort.

For a perfect experience on this brand-new train, travelers can begin their journey with an overnight stay in the peaceful countryside at Castello di Casole or Villa San Michele, a hotel renovated from a 15th-century monastery with stunning views of Florence. Furthermore, aboard the Orient-Express train, travelers also have the opportunity to admire the majestic beauty of the Swiss mountains before arriving in Paris.

Comprising 17 Art Deco-style carriages, the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express serves as a repository of the past of railway travel. Three new VIP suites will launch in 2021. Each suite features double beds instead of the old bunk beds and has a private bathroom. In addition, the spacious seating area and complimentary champagne create an atmosphere reminiscent of the elegant and sophisticated aristocracy of the 1920s.
Colorado Rockies to the Red Rocks: America's Magical Railroad
Starting in the summer of 2021, you'll be able to admire a magical train with a custom-designed yellow dome that winds through the vast canyons of the American Southwest.

This two-day journey, starting from the Rocky Mountains to the Red Rocks, will take you through Moab, Utah, and Denver, including an overnight stay at the Glenwood Springs Hotel in Colorado. It was the first American railroad route operated by Rocky Mountaineer, a Canadian rail travel company based in Western Canada.

Not only does this world's newest train offer a spectacular route, but it also serves delicious food and has operators knowledgeable about the local flora and fauna as well as the indigenous communities of the region.
Sightseeing boat 36+3: Exploring the remote island of Kyushu in Japan
The 36+3 sightseeing train is one of the world's newest trains, having launched last fall in Japan. Unlike other ordinary trains, the 36+3 connects with hot springs and world-famous ramen shops to cater to the needs of tourists.

In addition, the train has added five new routes to transport passengers to the remote island of Kyushu in southern Japan. The rhythmic clatter of the 36+3 train takes you around the island, with each stop located in a different prefecture.

For example, every Thursday, the train departs from Hakata, taking passengers to the spectacular scenery off the East China Sea coast. On Sundays, the train departs from Beppu, allowing passengers to fully appreciate the beauty of Beppu Bay and the mountainous Oita prefecture.
Goldenpass Express: Enjoy panoramic views of the Swiss ski resorts.
Switzerland boasts many beautiful railway routes, but for panoramic views of the ski resorts in Montreux, Gstaad, and Interlaken, only the Goldenpass Express—the world's newest train, scheduled to begin operation in December 2022—will suffice.

Designed by Pininfarina – the Italian company famous for its Ferrari and Maserati supercars – the locomotive can easily switch between narrow and standard gauge tracks. This also means that passengers will not have to change trains at Zweisimmen station.

Another plus point for the Goldenpass Express is its floor-to-ceiling glass windows with anti-reflective technology for optimal photography. This promises passengers stunning views of the Bernese Alps and makes it one of the most anticipated trains of 2022.
The Red Sea to the Mediterranean: Explore the ancient ruins of Egypt with ease.
The Red Sea to the Mediterranean is the first high-speed rail line, scheduled for completion in 2023. Once officially operational, this newest high-speed train in the world will make it easier for travelers to explore Egypt's ancient sites.

The new train will connect the Red Sea with the Mediterranean, including 15 stops along the route. This means passengers will not need to take a domestic flight or change trains when traveling from Luxor to the Giza Pyramids or through the resort town of Hurghada.

Siemens Mobility, a German industrial manufacturing company, will undertake the project. Michael Peter, the company's CEO, shared that the new production line will also help the project stay on schedule and ensure the Red Sea to the Mediterranean cruise ship operates as planned.
