The Ho Chi Minh City - Mekong Delta Tourism Connection Forum 2019 is about to take place.

The first Ho Chi Minh City and 13 Mekong Delta Provinces Tourism Connection Forum aims to affirm the cohesion of the 14 provinces and cities in building a regional tourism brand and enhancing the quality of cooperative activities. With this purpose and significance, the Forum will be an opportunity for meetings between state tourism management agencies, destination managers of the 14 provinces and cities, investors, domestic and foreign tourism businesses, and tourism associations.

The Ho Chi Minh City - Mekong Delta Tourism Connection Forum will be a meeting place for high-ranking leaders from the central to local levels, departments, experts, tourism associations, tourism businesses, media outlets, training institutions, etc., and will create a space for exchange, discussion, suggestions, and orientation for cooperation in tourism development between Ho Chi Minh City and the provinces and cities of the Mekong Delta.

The forum, for the first time, discussed the current situation and specific, synchronized solutions across three areas: promoting investment in tourism infrastructure, developing integrated tourism products, and communicating and promoting the regional tourism brand. Notably, this was the first time a high-level conference on tourism development linkages and a conference on promoting and attracting investment in cultural, sports, tourism, and entertainment infrastructure in Ho Chi Minh City and 13 provinces and cities in the Mekong Delta were held.
