Ho Chi Minh City - Mekong Delta Tourism Connection Forum 2019 is coming soon

The first Forum on Connecting Tourism between Ho Chi Minh City and 13 provinces and cities in the Mekong Delta took place to affirm the connection of 14 provinces and cities in building a regional linkage brand in tourism, raising the level and quality of cooperation activities. With that purpose and meaning, the Forum will be a meeting place for state management agencies on tourism, destination management of 14 provinces and cities, investors, domestic and foreign tourism businesses, and tourism associations.

The Ho Chi Minh City - Mekong Delta Tourism Connection Forum will be a meeting place for senior leaders from the Central to local levels, departments, experts, tourism associations, tourism businesses, media units, training institutions... and will create a space for exchange, discussion, advice and orientation for tourism development cooperation between Ho Chi Minh City and the provinces and cities of the Mekong Delta.

The forum for the first time discussed the current situation and specific solutions in synchronization on 3 contents: promoting investment in infrastructure serving tourism, linking products and communication work, promoting regional tourism brands. In particular, for the first time, there was a High-level Conference on tourism development linkage and a Conference on promoting and calling for investment in cultural - sports, tourism - entertainment infrastructure of Ho Chi Minh City and 13 provinces and cities in the Mekong Delta.
