The 2016 International Women Leaders Forum was a great success.

Following the success of the International Women Leaders Forum over the years, Mrs. World runner-up Thu Huong has helped the Women Leaders International Network (WLIN) further solidify its position, while also proving that the International Women Leaders Forum, under the direction of the Vietnam Women Entrepreneurs Council – VCCI, is a prestigious annual award that receives enthusiastic support from a large number of businesspeople both domestically and internationally.

This year, the organizers chose "Taking the Risk" as the overarching theme of the program. With this theme, the organizers presented vivid stories about female CEOs in a globalized world.

 

 

With the theme "Commitment," the organizers presented open panel discussions such as: "Women's Commitment to Leadership in Business," "Young Female Leaders - Success and Challenges," "Female Leaders - Success and Happiness," etc. Participating guests had the opportunity to interact and exchange ideas with renowned female leaders and speakers from both Vietnam and abroad, including: Ms. Le Thi Quynh Trang – Chairwoman of Multimedia JSC, Ms. Rebecca Kallioniemi – Director of AIA Hong Kong, Ms. Nguyen Thu Huong – General Director of Nam Huong Media & Events, Ms. Nguyen Hong Trang – General Director of Son Kim Fashion Company, Ms. Yisha He – Founder of Zhejiang Unisun Renewable Energy Co. Ltd., Ms. Crystal Lee – Co-founder and Director of LifeSite, etc.

With its ever-expanding scale, this year's forum received widespread participation from Vietnamese women leaders and those from countries such as Australia, the UK, the US, France, Russia, Malaysia, Japan, Thailand, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Macau, China, Singapore, Venezuela, and the Philippines. The 2016 International Women Leaders Forum attracted approximately 600 women leaders from various fields.

 

 

A special highlight of this year's program is the participation of four international beauty queens: Miss Daniela Chalbaud, Miss Intercontinental 2012; Miss Crystal Lee, First Runner-up Miss USA 2014; Miss Janine Tugonon, First Runner-up Miss Universe 2012; and Miss Victoria Thuy Vy, Miss Vietnam Global 2014. All of them not only possess stunning beauty but are also successful businesswomen.

 

 

At the end of the program, the Organizing Committee honored the Top 50 outstanding female leaders who have made positive contributions to the economy and the community. The program concluded successfully, and more than anyone else, as the Head of the Organizing Committee, Mrs. Vietnam Runner-up Thu Huong was the happiest person. The Organizing Committee also did not forget to express its most sincere gratitude to all the partner organizations and media outlets that covered the program.
