“See Beyond 2022” – a forum on future technologies by IMOU (a provider of innovative home appliances targeting the Internet of Things, or IoT) was held on November 24th in Ho Chi Minh City to showcase groundbreaking smart technologies for home security.

The "See Beyond 2022" forum brought the latest technology information to the Vietnamese market. In addition, a discussion session on home security systems was held for the first time in Vietnam as part of the program.

At this event, attendees had the opportunity to hear experts in the fields of algorithms and digital transformation share their perspectives on algorithmic programming and the fundamental capabilities of AI in driving the development of the smart home ecosystem.

The "See Beyond 2022" forum brought the latest technology information to the Vietnamese market.

According to Mr. Ma Ziang, Head of the IMOU Algorithm Department, for many people, not only in Vietnam, the next 10 years will be considered a prosperous decade as personal incomes continue to rise. In Vietnam, many young families are choosing a higher quality of life by showing a greater interest in smart home products.

The products launched at "See Beyond 2022" demonstrate that businesses aim to create new standards and breakthrough technologies for the smart home, smart home, and smart security systems markets. These products are also manufactured and developed based on new technologies, with AI and cloud computing at their core.

"For me, the value of AI technology lies in its ability to make cameras more accurate by analyzing the images they collect. For example, AI technology can help distinguish between a passing car and someone with malicious intent," Mr. Ma Ziang emphasized.

Furthermore, IMOU introduced its latest strategic product system, "2+4+N," to the forum. Through the deployment of a core cloud computing platform and artificial intelligence technology, the four main ecosystem products – security systems, robotics systems, wireless routers, and smart lighting systems – have made significant strides, marking a more intelligent and flexible development. This system aims to provide diverse solutions for various use cases, creating a more convenient and efficient user experience. Simultaneously, the home security system has been developed with the goal of going beyond mere security requirements.

Sharing insights on the latest systems and products, Mr. Xie Yun, General Manager of IMOU, stated that the upcoming product line will set the standard for the smart home appliance market. As the concept of convenient and safe living becomes increasingly popular in Vietnam, smart products and services are reaching millions of families, making Vietnam a potentially growing market with a scale surpassing some countries in the region.

At the event, Ms. Pham Mai Anh, an expert in digital transformation in Vietnam, stated that the trend of using artificial intelligence technology in the smart home sector is rapidly increasing in the Vietnamese market as well as in countries around the world. This predicts that the total number of smart homes with artificial intelligence will exceed 300 million by 2023 in the global market.
