Hue Traditional Craft Festival 2021 - "The Quintessence of Vietnamese Crafts"

Accordingly, the program will be held throughout a month, with the opening ceremony on June 12th and the closing ceremony on June 18th. Events will be held in various spaces and locations, with one event per week instead of being confined to a single week as in previous editions.

The location will focus on the pedestrian areas along both banks of the Perfume River, the Le Loi Street cultural and artistic space axis, and several central areas of the city. This innovative combination is expected to provide an unprecedented experience for residents and tourists, while strongly conveying the spirit and goals of the program.

The highlight of the Hue Traditional Craft Festival 2021 focuses on contemporary creative design, bringing Vietnamese traditional crafts closer to everyday life. The emphasized elements include Creativity - Culture - Craftsmanship. Accordingly, craft villages, artisans, and businesses are encouraged to bring to the Festival contemporary creative designs that are still based on traditional cultural values ​​and traditional crafts.

The Hue Traditional Craft Festival 2021 featured many famous figures such as designers Do Trinh Hoai Nam, Trinh Hoang Dieu, Kenny Thai, painter Le Thiet Cuong, musician Quoc Trung, choreographer Tran Ly Ly, the band Buc Tuong, artist Dinh Hoai Xuan, singer Tung Duong, and the dance group Lyricist...

First held in 2005, the Hue Traditional Craft Festival quickly became an annual event of significant importance in terms of cultural development, entertainment, social activities, tourism, and business. The Hue Traditional Craft Festival 2021 is expected to breathe new life into the tourism and economy of Hue city in 2021.
