Hue has never been a new destination for Vietnamese travel enthusiasts. As a cultural city with many historical relics, Hue has a profound but also poetic beauty. However, Hue does not only have majestic mausoleums, the iconic Trang Tien Bridge on the Perfume River, Hue also has extremely new, extremely cool destinations that are no less poetic. Take note to visit Hue in the near future....
Lonely tree in Ha Cang village
The filming locations of "Mat Biec" are still hot and one of the check-in spots that we cannot miss is the lonely tree in Ha Cang village. This area is located in Ha Cang village, right next to the Bo river and about 12km from Hue city center.

To this day, Ha Cang village still retains its rustic and simple features. The image of a lonely tree in the middle of a green field creates a strangely poetic and peaceful scene. If you come here on a sunny day, you will feel the cinematic beauty of this place.

Coming here, you can also visit the vast sugarcane fields, the green gardens full of fruit trees... or the village gates and ferry wharves that still retain their wild and simple beauty.

Ru Cha Forest
Ru Cha Forest is located about 15km from Hue city center. From the center, you just need to go along Highway 49 towards Thuan An beach, turn left over Tam Giang bridge, pass Thao Long dam to reach Ru Cha forest.

The name Ru Cha comes from the fact that most of the tea trees here grow naturally and many are decades old. This is also the only remaining primeval mangrove forest on Tam Giang lagoon.

Coming to Ru Cha forest, you will be immersed in the cool green space of trees and grass. Spend some time walking on the small path in the middle of the forest, you will see the roots of hundreds of years old trees, breathe the fresh air of the mountains, rivers and trees here. If you stand from above, you can also admire the peaceful forest scene like a painting.

Le Ba Dang Art Center
If you are an art enthusiast and like "real art" frames, then you should not miss the Le Ba Dang Art Center located on the poetic Huong River. This is the place to display and preserve nearly 400 works of artist Le Ba Dang, his works are very diverse and rich in expression as well as rich in cultural identity.

This central area has modern French architecture and a very impressive, luxurious design, blending with nature. From the building's terrace, you can see the entire beautiful natural picture around. There is also a long tunnel under the hillside that displays art and documents, pictures of the family of the famous painter Le Ba Dang.

The center is located in Kim Son village (Thuy Bang commune, Huong Thuy district, Thua Thien Hue). The entrance fee here is 269,000 VND for tourists and 150,000 VND for Hue residents only.

Don Ca Arch Bridge
Located on the border between Da Nang and Hue, Don Ca arch bridge rests at the foot of Hai Van pass. This is a train bridge designed in French architecture with impressive arches and towering stone pillars.

Because the Don Ca arch bridge is located in a hidden location and is a bit difficult to get to, many people do not know about this bridge. This bridge spans a small stream with a gray-white gravel road next to the winding railway. Seen from above, the railway and the arch bridge look like a soft silk strip across the mountain, creating a rare majestic scene. Just coming here, you will feel like you are entering a very different world.

To get to Don Ca Arch Bridge, go up Hai Van Pass and search Google Maps for "entrance to Don Ca Arch Bridge". After going all the way to the railway, turn right and you will see Hai Van Bac station. Once there, you just need to park your vehicle and walk to the right about 700 meters and you will see the towering arch bridge.
