Condé Nast Traveller is a luxury travel and lifestyle magazine published by Condé Nast, an American mass media company that also publishes renowned publications such as The New Yorker and Vanity Fair. Recently, on November 11th, Condé Nast Traveller announced its list of the most glamorous Christmas markets in Europe for 2019 on its website, and Tallinn was once again honored by this prestigious magazine.
The highlights of the Tallinn Christmas market are described the same way as in last year's list.
Tallinn's Christmas market is magnificent during the holidays.
“Besides typical Estonian Christmas treats like black pudding and sauerkraut (don’t just look at the names, they’re really delicious!), Tallinn’s market is visited by Santa Claus on his reindeer-drawn sleigh. However, the most special thing is the city’s magnificent Christmas tree. It was the first Christmas tree displayed in Europe and has stood in front of the City Hall since 1441,” – a description from Condé Nast Traveller.

Other cities recognized by Condé Nast Traveller as having the most beautiful and attractive Christmas markets in 2019 include: Prague (Czech Republic), Tallinn (Estonia), Cologne (Germany), Helsinki (Finland), Edinburgh (England), Colmar (France), Trento (Italy), Brussels (Belgium), Budapest (Hungary), Wroclaw (Poland), Vienna and Salzburg (Austria), Copenhagen (Denmark), Dresden (Germany), Strasbourg (France), Stockholm (Sweden), Basel (Switzerland), and Zagreb (Croatia).
