This is the second consecutive year that the famous travel magazine Condé Nast Traveller has rated Tallinn Christmas market (Estonia) as one of the most charming places in Europe.

Condé Nast Traveller is a luxury travel and lifestyle magazine published by Condé Nast, an American media company that also publishes the New Yorker and Vanity Fair. On November 11, Condé Nast Traveller published its list of Europe's Most Charming Christmas Markets of 2019 on its website, and Tallinn was once again honored by the prestigious magazine.

Tallinn Christmas Market is splendid during the holidays

“In addition to typical Estonian Christmas foods like black pudding and sauerkraut (don’t let the name fool you, they’re actually delicious), Tallinn Market also features a visit from Santa Claus himself, who arrives in a sleigh pulled by reindeer. But the highlight is the city’s dazzling Christmas tree, the first ever to be displayed for Christmas in Europe and has been in front of City Hall since 1441,” Condé Nast Traveller writes.

The prominent cities recognized by Condé Nast Traveller as having the most beautiful and attractive Christmas markets in 2019 also include: Prague (Czech Republic), Tallinn (Estonia), Cologne (Germany), Helsinki (Finland), Edinburgh (UK), Colmar (France), Trento (Italy), Brussels (Belgium), Budapest (Hungary), Wroclaw (Poland), Vienna and Salzburg (Austria), Copenhagen (Denmark), Dresden (Germany), Strasbourg (France), Stockholm (Sweden), Basel (Switzerland), Zagreb (Croatia).
