Sharing the same passion for backpacking and admiring beautiful landscapes, Mr. Huynh Ly Hung - a photographer living in My Tho city, Tien Giang province and his wife have cherished the journey to beautiful destinations of the S-shaped strip of land with an extremely unique car. The car is called by him a "mobile home" with full amenities with an interior including a bed, wardrobe, shelves and even a shower. With an initial cost of 90 million for an old car, Ly Hung researched, designed and completed the family's multi-purpose car.

To be able to explore the wild and majestic nature of Vietnam, not every place has convenient and safe accommodation. "There are very beautiful and wild places on my family's journey but there are no hotels or homestays. This has contributed to motivating me to design a multi-purpose vehicle, effectively serving my family's journey to explore Vietnam," Mr. Hung shared with Travellive.

Hung's family's 10-day journey to explore Vietnam on a mobile home started in July 2020. Starting from My Tho, the whole family passed through Tri An Lake, Phan Thiet, Da Lat, Vung Tau and then returned to My Tho. Sharing about the interesting things in his journey, Hung said: "With a trip on a mobile home, I can stop anywhere along the way, enjoy the rich and majestic natural scenery. Most especially, my small family can together admire and immerse themselves in the most beautiful scenes of the S-shaped strip of land".

At each destination, the family will sleep in the car, set up a tent or stay at a homestay depending on the local conditions.
With a journey of 1,700 km round trip, Hung's family also encountered many difficulties when reaching beautiful roads but limited means of transport, making it impossible for the "mobile home" to access. Or there were muddy sandy roads, the car could easily get stuck and had to be equipped with anti-sink accessories to be able to easily overcome.

The images capturing the beautiful scenery of each land that Hung's family passed through brought a feeling of warmth, happiness and inspiration to the hearts of those who love to travel. As for Hung's family, the recent trip was not only an experience to make the summer more lively but also a test for the whole family's journey across Vietnam in the future.
Mr. Hung's family is planning to travel across Vietnam in a "mobile home".
