Hanoi closes many roads during Tet holiday to serve the Light Festival – Brilliant Thang Long.

The Hanoi Department of Transport has just announced adjustments to traffic organization on Nguyen Dinh Thi, Trich Sai, Vong Thi, and Van Cao streets to serve the "Brilliant Thang Long Light Festival" program.

Accordingly, traffic is prohibited on Van Cao Street, from the Thuy Khue - Van Cao intersection to the Nguyen Dinh Thi - Van Cao - Trich Sai intersection.

Adjust traffic flow for vehicles heading from Van Cao - Thuy Khue to take Thanh Nien or Lac Long Quan road.

Motor vehicles are prohibited from traveling on Nguyen Dinh Thi street from the intersection of alley 128 Thuy Khue - Nguyen Dinh Thi to the intersection of Nguyen Dinh Thi - Van Cao - Trich Sai.

The traffic flow for cars will be adjusted to follow Nguyen Dinh Thi Street → Alley 128 Thuy Khue → Thuy Khue → Van Cao Street.

Motorcycles are prohibited from traveling on Nguyen Dinh Thi street, specifically the section from the intersection of alley 152 Thuy Khue – Nguyen Dinh Thi to the intersection of Nguyen Dinh Thi – Van Cao – Trich Sai.

The traffic flow for motorcycles will be adjusted to follow the route: Nguyen Dinh Thi → Alley 152 Thuy Khue → Thuy Khue → Van Cao.

All vehicles are prohibited from circulating on Nguyen Dinh Thi street from the intersection of alley 152 Thuy Khue – Nguyen Dinh Thi to the intersection of Nguyen Dinh Thi – Van Cao – Trich Sai.

On Trích Sài street: Motor vehicles are prohibited from circulating on Trích Sài street from the intersection of alley 45 Võng Thị - Trích Sài to the intersection of Trích Sài - Văn Cao.

The traffic flow for cars is adjusted to follow the route: Trích Sài → Lane 45 Võng Thị → Võng Thị → Lạc Long Quân.

Motorcycles are prohibited from traveling on Trích Sài street, from Cống Đõ to the Trích Sài - Văn Cao intersection.

The traffic flow for motorbikes should be adjusted to follow the direction of Trích Sài – the alley next to Thu Cúc Hospital → Thụy Khuê.

All vehicles are prohibited from circulating on Trích Sài street, from Cống Đõ to the Trích Sài - Văn Cao intersection.

Time of execution: From 6 PM to 11 PM on February 5th, from 6 PM to midnight on February 7th, and from 6 PM on February 9th to 2 AM on February 10th.

On New Year's Eve of the Year of the Dragon 2024, Hanoi will have a unique light show featuring 2024 drones.

This marks the first time Hanoi has set a Southeast Asian record for an artistic light show using drones combined with music, featuring 2024 drones. The planned location for the light show is the West Lake area, with further research being conducted on the My Dinh Stadium area.

From 0:00 to 0:15 on February 10th, the moment of the Lunar New Year's Eve of the Year of the Dragon, all 30 districts, counties, and towns of Hanoi will have fireworks displays.

The Ho Guom area continues to have two high-altitude and low-altitude fireworks display points: one in front of the Hanoi Moi newspaper headquarters and the other in front of the Hanoi Post Office. Two new high-altitude fireworks display points are located in the Tam Hiep commune's regulating lake project area in Thanh Tri district and the Dong Anh district's Sports Center.
