Two Ha Long tourist ports simultaneously increased service fees.

From April 1, 2024, the two international cruise ports Tuan Chau and Ha Long (Quang Ninh province) will simultaneously increase service fees for cruise ships. This is expected to affect the cost of traveling to Ha Long and may impact the number of tourists coming here.

Tuan Chau International Passenger Port and Ha Long International Passenger Port have both increased port service fees for tourists and vehicle mooring fees. Passenger tickets will increase to VND60,000/person/trip. Of which, seniors will receive a 50% discount, and children from 7 to 15 years old will receive a 20% discount.

For tourist boats, service fees increase by VND50,000/trip; security and public lighting fees increase by VND100,000/boat/month; boat mooring fees increase by VND9,000/m2/month.

Đây là lần tăng giá đầu tiên của Cảng tàu khách quốc tế Hạ Long sau 5 năm đi vào hoạt động.

This is the first price increase of Ha Long International Passenger Port after 5 years of operation.

With the increase in passenger tickets through the port, the entrance fee to Ha Long Bay for each passenger will increase to 460,000 VND for route 1 (310,000 VND for entrance ticket, 150,000 VND for boat ticket). For route 2, the ticket price will increase to 510,000 VND (310,000 VND for entrance ticket and 200,000 VND for boat ticket). In the 310,000 VND entrance ticket, 60,000 VND is for port fees collected by the ports.

Overnight ticket prices in Ha Long Bay will also increase, averaging from 600,000 - 800,000 VND/person.

The increase in service fees will make the cost of traveling to Ha Long more expensive, especially for tourists traveling by cruise ship. However, tourism businesses and authorities need to find solutions to minimize the impact of this on tourists, ensuring that Ha Long tourism remains an attractive destination for tourists.
