Taking place on the afternoon of May 28th at Stage A, Nguyen Van Binh Book Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, the Travel Talk - Next Stop: Taiwan! program served as a bridge for travel enthusiasts to access all the necessary information for their trip to Taiwan. In addition, the participation of the Taiwan Tourism Bureau helped visitors update themselves on the latest entry regulations.
Despite the unfavorable weather, hundreds of young travel enthusiasts joined in the lively atmosphere of a meeting to share useful travel information just before the peak of the tourist season.

The event featured guest speakers including: Ly Thanh Co, a travel blogger who has traveled to 39 countries and territories. Ly Thanh Co has also written over 200 reviews and is the author of 3 travel books. Bui Viet Ha (Ha La La), a charismatic female travel blogger who made her mark with a 16-day journey through Laos and Northern Thailand, and a 28-day solo trip to India. Additionally, Mr. Derek Chou, representative of the Taiwan Tourism Bureau, and Mr. Roger Yen, representative of Starlux Airlines, also participated in this Travel Talk.
Taiwan: A safe destination with friendly people.
To begin the conversation, Ly Thanh Co and Ha La La shared their personal experiences from their travels in Taiwan. Both guests agreed that it is a very safe destination and offers fulfilling experiences. Ms. Ha La La shared that there are places that many people are hesitant to travel to, such as India, and at times even considered canceling their trip to India.

"But for Taiwan, I was very excited before the trip, and the moment I set foot in Taiwan, I felt extremely safe," Ha shared in the Travel Talk program. In addition, the blogger was extremely impressed with Taiwan's public transportation: convenient, modern, and accessible almost anywhere. The Taiwanese people are also friendly and enthusiastic; not only young people but even elderly people are very helpful in giving directions and using gestures if they can't communicate in English.

Speaking to Travellive, Derek Chou said that it is this relaxed atmosphere of Taiwan that keeps Vietnamese tourists coming back. Taiwanese people may seem quiet and gentle on the surface, but when someone proactively asks for help, they will be very enthusiastic.
"Visitors to Taiwan all feel cared for, appreciated, and loved," said Derek Chou.

Mr. Li Cheng-Chi said that when he arrived in Taiwan, he could only utter two words: "surprise." Tourists only need a Schengen visa, Japanese visa, etc., in their passport to enter the country relatively easily. Besides the diverse natural landscapes and scenery, he was "surprised" by the distinctive cuisine. Taiwanese delicacies are present everywhere, from bustling night markets and small, yet always crowded, food carts to luxurious restaurants.
The young people enthusiastically interacted with the guests.
A few minutes into the program, it started raining heavily for the remainder of the event. However, the young people pulled their chairs closer together to avoid the rain and continued their conversation with the guest speaker.

During interactions with travel bloggers, young people continuously asked interesting questions for the program. They also provided valuable information and personal experiences from their travels in Taiwan. Xuan, an office worker, shared that Taiwanese vegetarian cuisine is very diverse and delicious, with a wide variety of seasonal vegetables and fruits. In addition, she introduced many types of handmade Taiwanese mochi cakes with a refreshing taste.

In addition, a young tech enthusiast shared information about places in Taiwan where tech lovers can find such products. In Taipei, two major computer and electronics manufacturers, Acer and Asus, are located there. Therefore, the city boasts many streets selling tech products, making it easy for tourists to find and purchase them at reasonable prices.

Through the Next Stop: Taiwan event, a collaboration between Travellive magazine and the Taiwan Tourism Bureau, Derek Chou aims to provide comprehensive information to prospective tourists. He also stated that Taiwan and its people always welcome international visitors with open arms.
