Miss H'Hen Nie is the image ambassador for the 2019 Ho Chi Minh City Ao Dai Festival

This is the 6th time the festival has been held and the theme of this year's festival is "Charming Ao Dai of Ho Chi Minh City". The event is expected to take place at Nguyen Hue walking street, Bui Vien walking street, Youth Cultural House, Women's Cultural House, War Remnants Museum, Ao Dai Museum, City Post Office and at agencies, units, businesses, schools and residential areas of Ho Chi Minh City.

According to the representative of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism, this year, the Organizing Committee will invite Miss Universe 2017 H'Hen Nie and some famous people to be Ao Dai ambassadors at the festival. In 2017, the image ambassador of the Ho Chi Minh City Ao Dai Festival is Miss Vietnam 2016 Do My Linh.

In addition to the festival, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism also organized a drawing and design contest on Ao Dai with the theme "Ao Dai with the city", an Ao Dai design contest for students; organized a drawing and decoration contest for primary and secondary school students in the city on available Ao Dai models according to the theme.
