Miss H'Hen Niê serves as the image ambassador for the Ho Chi Minh City Ao Dai Festival 2019.

This is the 6th time the festival has been held, and the theme for this year is "The Graceful Ao Dai of Ho Chi Minh City". The event is expected to take place in the Nguyen Hue pedestrian street area, Bui Vien pedestrian street, the Youth Cultural Center, the Women's Cultural Center, the War Remnants Museum, the Ao Dai Museum, the City Post Office, and at various agencies, units, businesses, schools, and residential areas in Ho Chi Minh City.

According to a representative from the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism, this year, the organizing committee will invite Miss Universe 2017 H'Hen Niê and several other celebrities to be ambassadors for the ao dai (traditional Vietnamese dress) at the festival. In 2017, the image ambassador for the Ho Chi Minh City Ao Dai Festival was Miss Vietnam 2016 Do My Linh.

In addition to the festival, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism also organized a drawing and design competition on ao dai (traditional Vietnamese dress) with the theme "Ao Dai with the City," an ao dai design competition for university and high school students; and a drawing and decorating competition on pre-designed ao dai for primary and secondary school students in the city.

The Phong
