The prestigious CNN recently published a list of the 13 most romantic destinations in the world. Among them, Hoi An ancient town (Quang Nam, Vietnam) continues to make the list alongside other famous cities worldwide such as Venice, Paris, and Kyoto.

Alongside familiar names like Hawaii, Venice, and Paris, Vietnam's ancient town of Hoi An has demonstrated its appeal to international tourists by continuing to be included in the rankings, maintaining its position from last year - 9th out of 13.

According to CNN, Hoi An is becoming increasingly popular with tourists, with visitor numbers rising sharply year after year. However, this coastal city in central Vietnam has not lost its inherent romance and historical charm, thanks to its ancient temples, rows of old-fashioned houses built along the canals, and hundreds of colorful lanterns hanging in the streets. Cuisine is also a major attraction of Hoi An ancient town, with famous dishes such as banh mi (Vietnamese baguette), cao lau (noodle soup), mi quang (Quang Nam noodles), chicken rice, grilled meat, and more.
