Hoi An promotes culture and attracts tourists in Japan

Hoi An will host a special event featuring lantern displays, handicrafts and cultural performances. The event aims to attract visitors from Japan to the city, providing a colorful and unique experience.

Recently, in order to continue to foster close exchanges between the people of the two localities of the country, a working delegation from Hoi An City (Quang Nam Province) is on a working trip to Sakai City (Osaka Province, Japan).

This meeting is an important first step for a potential partnership between Hoi An and Sakai, opening up many new opportunities and creating common integration and development.

Hoi An will also introduce tourism information and services of the city, organize lantern exhibitions and handicraft products to introduce culture, destinations, discovery and entertainment programs; traditional craft villages;... to attract tourists to Hoi An.

In addition, Hoi An also participated and had art performances at the 2nd Vietnam Festival in Osaka in 2024. This is one of the major events co-organized by the Consulate General of Vietnam in Osaka on April 27-28.
