Da Nang resumes bus service to Hoi An ancient town.

During the upcoming April 30th - May 1st holiday, a bus route connecting Da Nang to Hoi An will be available to serve both locals and tourists. With a fare of 35,000 VND per ticket, this bus service is expected to meet the transportation needs of everyone during this holiday period.

This bus route will operate from 5:45 AM to 6:00 PM daily, with a frequency of approximately 15-30 minutes per trip. The route includes key points such as the Vietnam-Korea University bus station, DT607 road, Nguyen Tat Thanh street, Hoi An bus station, Ly Thuong Kiet street, Tran Nhan Tong street, Cua Dai, Au Co street, and the Cua Dai inland waterway terminal parking lot.

Previously, Da Nang and Hoi An had a connecting bus route in 2017. Two years later, Da Nang implemented a policy prohibiting buses from Quang Nam from entering the city center. Since October 2020, the Da Nang - Hoi An bus route has had a stop at the Vietnam-Korea University, located on the outskirts of Da Nang, bordering Dien Ban town in Quang Nam province.

Previously, bus connections between Da Nang and Hoi An existed. In 2017, Da Nang launched several inner-city bus routes to improve the city's public transportation system. Two years later, the local authorities also implemented a policy banning buses from Quang Nam from entering the city center of Da Nang, aiming to reduce traffic congestion and increase safety for road users.

Hoi An is a popular tourist destination during the April 30th - May 1st holiday.

The Da Nang – Hoi An bus route was restarted in October 2020, with a pick-up and drop-off point at the Vietnam-Korea University, located on the outskirts of Da Nang and near Dien Ban town in Quang Nam province. The restoration of this bus route not only facilitates travel between the two major cities for residents and tourists but also contributes to reducing traffic congestion and protecting the environment.

The two remaining bus routes connecting Quang Nam operate every 15-25 minutes: inner-city route 21, operating from 5:00 AM to 5:30 PM, runs from Da Nang Central Bus Station, passes through 29/3 Park, and terminates at the Southern Bus Station (Da Nang), covering a distance of 18 km; the adjacent route operates from 4:45 AM to 5:30 PM from the Southern Bus Station to Tam Ky (Quang Nam) via National Highway 1A, with a fare of 39,000 VND for a distance of 56 km.
