Meanwhile, the Hanoi – Thanh Oai – Ung Hoa – My Duc tourist route will focus on heritage sites and traditional craft villages, namely: Noi Binh Da communal house (Thanh Oai district), Quang Phu Cau incense stick making village (Ung Hoa district), silk and lotus silk weaving (My Duc district).
Quang Phu Cau incense village - a traditional craft village in Hanoi with a history spanning over a century.
On this route, visitors will learn about the architecture, cultural value, and history of the temple dedicated to the national ancestor Lac Long Quan; the Quang Phu Cau incense stick making village, which is currently attracting many domestic and international tourists; and the My Duc silk and lotus silk making village. These two tourist routes have many advantages in terms of ecological landscapes, heritage sites, traditional crafts, and ancient villages.
Also along this route, the Phung Xa silk weaving village in My Duc district is another enchanting destination for tourists. Here, visitors can participate in a comprehensive exploration of the silk production process, from mulberry cultivation and silkworm rearing to spinning, weaving, lotus cultivation for lotus silk, and finally, weaving and embroidering unique lotus silk products.

Each stage of the process is a profound experience of art and tradition, providing visitors with a deeper understanding of the origins and cultural values of Vietnam's traditional textile industry.
According to the Hanoi Department of Tourism, the survey and development of these two tourist routes will serve as a foundation for travel businesses to further develop more tours and routes connecting localities and tourist destinations, creating new products and enhancing the visitor experience. These two new tourist routes are expected to bring a "fresh breeze" to the capital's tourism activities in 2024.
