The Hanoi Craft Village Tourism and Cuisine Festival 2022 is chaired by the Hanoi Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion, in coordination with departments and branches, with many unique activities to attract tourists. The festival will introduce to domestic and foreign visitors the quintessence of the capital's traditional craft villages - a place where 47/52 traditional crafts of the country converge.
The festival will have 6 areas with different themes to introduce delicious dishes of Hanoi and each separate area will introduce tourism of typical craft villages of the land of a thousand years of civilization.
The area introducing traditional and modern cuisine of Hanoi will help visitors experience from street food to traditional cuisine such as: Hanoi pho, fish cakes, bun thang, Son Tay rice cakes, Phung spring rolls, Phu Thuong sticky rice, Tay Ho lotus tea, egg coffee, Uoc Le sausage... In addition, visitors can also learn about and enjoy traditional dishes of Hanoi people.

The organizers also divided separate areas to introduce tourism to typical craft villages of Hanoi such as: Bat Trang ceramic village (Gia Lam district), Van Phuc silk village (Ha Dong district), Phu Vinh bamboo and rattan weaving (Chuong My district), Ha Thai lacquerware (Thuong Tin district), Son Dong handicrafts (Hoai Duc district), Thuy Ung horn comb (Thuong Tin district), Xuan La figurine making craft village (Phu Xuyen)...

In particular, at the festival, there will be many attractive activities and events such as: activities introducing the production stages of some craft village products, areas for visitors to experience the production stages of craft village products; fashion shows of ao dai from Van Phuc silk products and jewelry from horns, mother-of-pearl inlays...; introducing the quintessence of Hanoi cuisine: street food, folk cuisine, dishes originating from culinary craft villages; photo exhibition of Hanoi craft villages...
In addition, the Organizing Committee also arranged a game area with folk games for the whole family and children such as tug of war, stilt walking, swinging, hopscotch, jumping rope, blindfolded goat catching, bamboo bridge crossing, etc.; combining E-sports games with the SEA Games competition for visitors to experience.
In the coming time, the Hanoi Department of Tourism will continue to coordinate with relevant units of the city, provinces, cities and localities in the area to organize new and attractive tourism promotion activities and events to attract domestic and foreign tourists to the capital.
