In particular, lively activities such as street matchmaking games, dance group interactions, and performances of rock and traditional music mostly drew young people and foreign tourists to participate and enjoy.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, the leader of the Hanoi People's Committee said:The Hanoi Tourism Gift Festival not only introduces and promotes Hanoi's tourism gift products, encourages the development of the gift manufacturing industry, creates jobs, and increases income for the workforce, but also contributes to attracting tourists and restoring tourism activities in the capital. At the same time, it stimulates domestic tourism ("Vietnamese people travel in Vietnam") and restores the tourist market to Hanoi after the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, continuing to build the image of Hanoi as a safe, friendly, high-quality, and attractive destination.

Following "Hanoi Tourism Welcomes 2022 - Get on Hanoi 2022", the Hanoi Tourism Gift Festival 2022 is the second event in a series of activities to promote and advertise tourism in the capital city, organized by the Department of Tourism in coordination with relevant units. The event takes place in the pedestrian area around Hoan Kiem Lake, from the entrance gate of Dinh Tien Hoang - Trang Tien - Hang Khay streets to the flower garden of Ba Kieu Temple.

As part of the series of events promoting Hanoi tourism in 2022, the Management Board of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum will give away 30,000 gifts to visitors during the April 30th - May 1st holiday.
