Promoting culture and tourism through the Vietnam International Fashion Tour.

The Vietnam International Fashion Tour is a tour organized by Voyage Group and IEX Group in collaboration with several other units. The event includes an announcement ceremony followed by the first night's show featuring many outstanding collections.

At the Vietnam International Fashion Tour, the shows leverage the pristine and majestic beauty of nature combined with impressive runway designs to create a unique fashion and tourism experience for the audience. Through fashion shows held in many famous locations across the country, the program will contribute to stimulating domestic tourism and promoting the image of Vietnam's nature and people to the international public.

Besides the inaugural event and announcement ceremony on the evening of June 4th, the Vietnam International Fashion Tour will stop in 5 provinces and cities over two years, 2022 and 2023, including: Quang Ninh (August 28, 2022), Lao Cai (October 30, 2022), Hanoi (December 25, 2022 - December 31, 2023), Hoa Binh (June 25, 2023), and Ninh Binh (August 27, 2023). Each show will be held at a famous location across the country, showcasing pristine natural beauty or the vibrant modern lifestyle.

Speaking to Travellive, designer Le Tran Dac Ngoc, president of the Vietnam International Fashion Tour, said: "The fashion show aims to honor and promote the image of Vietnam, its people, and its culture through fashion stories. The selection of the five provinces and cities also has a purpose. In Quang Ninh, it will take place in Ha Long Bay - one of the UNESCO World Heritage sites; in Lao Cai, it will be at the Cloud Terrace on the summit of Fansipan; in Hoa Binh, there will be a fashion show at a golf course... Initially, we will choose provinces and cities in the North, then move to provinces in the Central and Southern regions, and finally to countries around the world."

Each show will tell fascinating stories, recreating cultural and historical details of each region. Local beauty inspires fashion, bringing fashion back to its roots and conveying a message about preserving beautiful natural landscapes and traditional cultural features of the nation.

In addition, designer Dac Ngoc shared that the inspiration for organizing this series of fashion shows in famous landmarks was to contribute to promoting tourism development after the Covid-19 pandemic and to showcase the people and culture of these regions.

This is also the first fashion project in Vietnam to apply virtual reality technology, such as: the first virtual shopping mall for all product categories in Vietnam, a virtual fashion show, and accompanying cultural events also held in a virtual reality space…
