The Hanoi Tourism Festival is organized by the Hanoi Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion to stimulate tourism, restore and develop the city's tourism in 2022 when the epidemic is temporarily subsided.
According to Mr. Nguyen Anh Duong - Director of the Center, the Hanoi Tourism Festival 2022 will apply 4.0 technology to not only attract domestic and international tourists; but also encourage the capital's people to travel to attractive destinations in Hanoi such as Thang Long Imperial Citadel, Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam, Hoa Lo Prison relic, the Old Quarter, Ba Vi area, My Duc, Soc Son, Son Tay...
The event has a scale equivalent to 150 booths, divided into two areas: Direct and online tourism stimulus space. In which, the direct space is located in Ly Thai To flower garden and Dinh Tien Hoang street; while the online space includes 2D and 3D exhibition websites introducing and providing tourism products of tourism businesses on digital platforms.

At the festival, there are many art spaces such as: 2D, 3D miniatures introducing Hanoi tourist destinations for visitors to check-in; booths of sponsors and provinces introducing tourism and local specialties; booths of international tourism agencies; booths and tourist counters introducing tour products, travel combos, hotels, air tickets; craft village and Hanoi cuisine space introducing some typical craft village products, introducing dishes and outstanding specialties of the Capital in the Octagonal house area.
Hanoi Tourism Festival is an activity in a series of events to promote and advertise Hanoi tourism in 2022. Because it is held during the 31st SEA Games, this is also an opportunity to introduce Hanoi as an attractive and safe destination to friends from other countries attending the 31st SEA Games.

Previously, on the occasion of April 29 - May 1, Hanoi tourism units also organized a number of activities within the framework of a series of events such as: Hanoi Tourism Gift Festival, the opening ceremony of Son Tay - Xu Doai Tourism Year and the opening of Son Tay Ancient Citadel Walking Street, giving gifts to tourists visiting President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Bat Trang tourism week, art performances, street food in Tay Ho district in 2022.
In addition, from May 19 to May 23, there will be a Hanoi Craft Village Cuisine and Tourism Festival taking place in Le Quang Dao Street (Nam Tu Liem District) to introduce Hanoi's traditional cuisine to domestic and foreign tourists.
