At the "India Fair - A Celebration of Unity in Diversity," members of the Indian community in Vietnam, their Vietnamese friends, and members of the diplomatic corps participated in the event in a vibrant and colorful atmosphere.
Mr. Phan Anh Son, President of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Associations; Mr. Luu Van Duc, Vice President of the Vietnam-India Parliamentary Friendship Group; along with the Indian Ambassador to Vietnam and his wife; Ambassadors; senior officials from Vietnamese ministries and agencies; friends from friendship associations; the Indian business community; research institutes; members of diplomatic delegations; and the Indian community all joined in the celebration at the event...

The four-hour event celebrated the diverse colors of India through cultural performances, culinary experiences from different regions of India, exhibitions of clothing, arts and crafts, carpets, and grocery items displayed at the fair. Magnificent traditional costumes from various Indian states were also showcased, embodying the spirit of "Unity in Diversity." In addition, guests had the opportunity to experience traditional Indian henna painting.
Cultural and artistic performances within the framework of the event.
The cultural performance showcased various forms of dance, music, and yoga performed by the Indian community and Vietnamese students of the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Center. The essence of Indian culture was also highlighted through short videos recorded by Vietnamese travel companies during their recent trips to the states of Kerala and Gujarat. At the food festival, guests experienced the diverse flavors of different regions of India. Since this year was also the International Year of Millet, the food festival featured various dishes that can be made from millet.

The event also included the awards ceremony for the painting contest on “Indian and Vietnamese Buddhist Architecture,” held in Vinh Phuc province as part of a series of events commemorating the 75th anniversary of the Independence Day of the Republic of India and the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between India and Vietnam.
Fourteen entries in the Student category (ages 6 to 17) and eleven entries in the Adult category (ages 22 and over), out of a total of 4,258 submitted paintings, were awarded prizes by the Indian Embassy. Five paintings that won first and second prizes were displayed at the fair.
