As part of the Hue Festival 2022, the program will take place at 7:30 PM on April 16th at the Hue Imperial Citadel and admission is free for visitors.

The "Hue Sounds" program, organized by the Hue Imperial Citadel Conservation Center, aims to honor the cultural heritage of the Hue imperial court. The program recreates court rituals and arts such as the changing of the guard ceremony, court music, and court dances. In addition, the program includes a Trinh Cong Son music night featuring artists from Hue and Ho Chi Minh City.

This event is part of the Summer Festival series of Hue Festival 2022, taking place from April to June.

In particular, the Hue Soundscape art program will be open to the public free of charge. Visitors to Hue do not need to buy tickets to attend the program. The event will be held in the Hue Imperial Citadel area, from Ngo Mon Gate to the courtyard of the Thai Hoa Palace.

The Hue Festival 2022 is associated with the four seasons and is held continuously throughout the year. This special event is divided into four phases: the Spring Festival (January-March), the Summer Festival (April-June), the Autumn Festival (July-September), and the Winter Festival (October-December).

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Hue Festival 2022, believes that this year's festival is being organized on a larger scale and with more care than previous events. Furthermore, at this festival, the people and tourists are both beneficiaries and creators, helping to stimulate tourism in Hue.

"Hue Festival 2022, with nearly 50 cultural events organized continuously throughout the year by domestic and international art troupes, represents the cultural identity of the region and the nation, aiming to promote cultural exchange and cooperation, honor and publicize the distinctive cultural features of the ancient capital city with 7 UNESCO-recognized heritage sites," Mr. Binh stated at the opening ceremony in January this year.
