In the first quarter, the total number of tourists to Quang Binh province was nearly 650,000, 4.45 times higher than the same period in 2022. Total revenue from tourists reached more than 733 billion VND; Accommodation guests reached nearly 300,000, more than twice that of the same period last year; Accommodation service revenue is estimated at more than 94 billion VND. These are positive signs showing that Quang Binh tourism is continuing to recover strongly.

Currently, Quang Binh province has put more than 30 tourism products into official and experimental exploitation. In early February this year, Phong Nha Tourism Center and Dong Hoi city were in the Top 10 friendliest destinations in Vietnam in 2023 voted by tourists around the world. Rum Ho Village, Dong Chau-Khe Nuoc Trong Nature Reserve, and Hang Va of Quang Binh were in the "Top 7 Impressive Vietnam in 2022" voted by Saigon Marketing - a publication of the Saigon Economic Magazine group. In 2023, Quang Binh tourism industry strives to welcome 3-3.5 million tourists to the locality, including about 100,000 international visitors; total revenue from tourists is 3,400-3,900 billion VND.
Quang Binh province is planning to organize activities to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park being recognized by UNESCO as a World Natural Heritage. The celebration will include many activities such as: Quang Binh Cave Festival in 2023; Scientific conference on the theme "World Natural Heritage Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park: Adaptation, Integration and Sustainable Development"; Ao Dai Festival with the theme "Ao Dai - Back to the Heritage Land"...
In the first quarter of this year, the number of tourists to Quang Binh increased more than 4 times compared to the same period in 2022.
Mr. Tran Thang, Chairman of Quang Binh Provincial People's Committee said: "Improve the quality of tourism products and services and proactively research, conduct field surveys, diversify new tourism products to meet the trends and needs of tourists. Along with that, strengthen the management and supervision of welcoming and serving tourists by tourism units and tourist attractions in the area to ensure safety and security of tourism during the 2023 tourist season, especially during the peak period of April 30 - May 1".
