Fluctuart Museum - Paris, France
Fluctuart launched in May 2019.
The Fluctuart Museum is the world's first floating art center, situated on the Seine River, anchored beneath the Invalides Bridge. Fluctuart integrates urban art concepts in all their forms, spread across three levels. The main chamber serves as a temporary exhibition space, rotating three times a year, showcasing contemporary street art themes alongside archival materials and iconic works permanently displayed within the space. The rooftop of the floating museum houses a cocktail bar, food court, and live music area. Fluctuart is an ideal intersection between street art and formal cultural institutions.
National Museum of Qatar - Doha, Qatar

Renowned architect Jean Nouvel drew inspiration from the shape of a sand rose to design Qatar's new national museum, which will be inaugurated on March 28, 2019.
The National Museum of Qatar will open on March 28th.


Built around the historic palace of Sheikh Abdullah bin Jassim Al Thani, now the Heritage Museum, it will showcase ancient collections, remnants of local cultural history, as well as contemporary works by Qatari and international artists. Aiming to create an international impact, the museum seeks to be a space for dialogue between the country's history, rich cultural heritage, and aspirations for the future.
Film Museum - Los Angeles, USA
The American Film Museum will open at the end of 2019.
27,000 square meters isn't a lot for a heritage site like the Los Angeles Film Museum. This magnificent space, designed by Renzo Piano under the direction of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, houses several art galleries, a movie theater, educational spaces, and event venues. The museum is a treasure trove of over 12 million photographs, 80,000 screenplays, 190,000 video tapes, and 104,000 artifacts from Hollywood's most iconic films. The Academy also chose to inaugurate the museum with a major exhibition titled "Where Dreams Come True: Journeys Inside Films" and an event honoring the works of renowned director Hayao Miyazaki.
Bauhaus Museum - Dessau, Germany

To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Bauhaus movement, the city of Dessau will inaugurate the first museum dedicated to the Walter Gropius School – named after the architect who founded the historically famous Bauhaus movement – which promises to become one of the major artistic currents of the 20th century in Germany.
The Bauhaus Museum will open on September 8, 2019.
His collection tells the story of the design movement through architecture, typography, graphic arts, and interior design, and coincides with the inauguration of the new Bauhaus Museum in Weimar – reopened after three years of work, housing the world's oldest Bauhaus collection.
Museum Platform 10 - Lausanne, Switzerland
Platform 10 Museum will open on October 5, 2019.
More than just a museum, Platform 10 is known as a large and vibrant arts district next to Lausanne train station, aiming to become the hub of the city's largest museums and galleries.


This area houses the Cantonal Museum of Fine Arts, which will reopen in 2019 in a completely new space, the Musée de l'Elysée (dedicated to photography), and the Museum of Contemporary Design and Applied Arts, scheduled to reopen in 2021. All of these museums' exhibitions will be structured around a common program, aiming for a dialogue between all art forms from different periods.
The Shelter Museum - New York, USA

Within the context of museum institutions, New York City's new cultural center aims to harmonize contemporary art with its era, directly engaging with emerging artists and reflecting artistic diversity through activities ranging from dance to literature, painting, digital, and film.
The Shed will open on April 5, 2019.
Located within the Bloomberg Building, The Shed was designed as a modular structure by the architectural firms Diller Scofidio + Renfro and Rockwell Group. At its grand opening on April 5th, a series of concerts, screenings, and performances will take place inside the museum.
National Museum of African American Music - Nashville, USA
The National African American Music Museum will open in 2019.
America has finally built a museum dedicated to one of its richest legacies: African American music. The museum, opening in Nashville this year, will feature a five-themed journey: the history and influence of the gospel; the history and legacy of blues in American music; the journey of jazz through the ages and continents; the history of rhythm and its expressions (rock, soul, motown, funk, etc.); and finally, the age of hip-hop, promising a comprehensive look at the history of contemporary American music.
