6 days, more than 1000 km from Tainan to Taichung and then back up to Taipei, Tai Pham captured in himself the brilliant moments of Taiwan's nature in the summer. "Actually, tourists often go to Taiwan in winter - spring because of the cool weather. But Taiwan in the summer also has its own beauty: the brilliant beauty under the sunlight, the poetic beauty of the rice fields, the cool beauty of the streams flowing between the hills", he shared.
Tai Pham explored Taiwan for 6 days with about 1000 km of travel.
Starting from Tainan, Tai Pham rented a car to explore Taiwan. He used the Irent app to rent a car at a cost of approximately 2,500,000 VND/day. According to him, renting a car to travel to Taiwan is suitable for those who like to freely admire the beautiful scenery of Taiwan at a not-too-expensive cost.
From downtown Tainan, Tai Fan takes about an hour to get to Dagang Shan. You should get there in the late afternoon, although the road is quite winding, but the reward is extremely worthy. There is no better place than Dagang Shan - a little-known destination - to see the whole city of Tainan sparkling in a myriad of lights at night.

Along the coastline, Tai Pham passed through Pingtung, moving to Taitung. Taitung in Tai's eyes was a peaceful land. It was the cool, jade-green water of Mulberry Creek, also known as "Divine Spring" by the locals. It was a sweet, warm color scheme of the rice fields in Chishang Township.
When coming to Taitung, do not miss trekking deep into Mulberry Creek to enjoy the cool feeling in the middle of summer. Spending time to admire the poetic scenery of rice fields surrounded by majestic mountains will also help to complete your journey to explore the natural beauty of Taiwan.

The road to see the whole rice field is about 3 km long.
Taiwan is not only about skyscrapers like Taipei 101 and the bright lights of the city. There are also many attractive destinations with impressive natural beauty like in Hualien. Tai Pham chose Taroko National Park as his first destination when he arrived in Hualien, the largest county in Taiwan.
Spending the morning leisurely trekking on the tree-lined path, the cool and pleasant climate in the park made Tai Pham so happy that it was hard to believe he was in the middle of summer. "Although I know the constructions were created by human hands, I have to praise the way Taiwanese people do tourism. They know how to connect and harmonize with nature to bring the most pleasant natural travel experiences to visitors," Tai Pham exclaimed.

Although only about 10 minutes drive from the city center, Qixingtang beach offers a feeling of complete separation from the hustle and bustle of the city. The crescent-shaped coastline stretches along the beautiful cliffs. "Visit Qixingtan to immerse yourself in the quiet, airy atmosphere and take beautiful pictures here," Tai suggested.

The scenery here makes people feel like they are lost in an anime episode.
Leaving Hualien, Tai Pham moved through Taichung and then up to Taipei. Right near the center of Taiwan's capital, Keelung is the next destination on the journey with interesting destinations. Badouzi Seaside Park is thousands of hectares wide, allowing visitors to hike along the valleys and low hills and then gaze out to admire the immense sea. If you are passionate about unique architectural works, the Agenna shipyard relic site with its row of houses in bold European colors is a destination not to be missed when coming to Taipei.

If you are in Taipei, visit Jiufen. Jiufen Old Town is famous for its ancient architecture and “snack paradise”. Follow the main road and you will see many souvenir shops and eateries. Jiufen is also a famous tourist destination with an ideal sunset view.

Taiwan travel tips
Visa
Taiwan's current visa policy is quite "relaxed" for tourists. Tai Pham noted that freelancers need to prepare social insurance for at least 3 months to apply for a visa. If they do not have social insurance or the period is less than 3 months, they will definitely not be granted a visa.
He added that now, when you are granted a visa, 7 days before your flight, you can go to the Taiwan Tourism Bureau website to register for the lucky draw. The lucky draw is only available at Taoyuan International Airport (TPE), Taipei Songshan Airport (TSA), Taichung Airport (RMQ) and Kaohsiung International Airport (KHH). The prize is NT$5,000, paid out according to the traveler's choice: electronic voucher for shopping or accommodation discount coupon.
Vehicle
Tourists should use public transport such as buses, trains, trams... Limit the use of taxis because of the sky-high cost. In addition, if you travel independently, you can also consider renting a car to get around.
Just go to the parking lot (available in many places), choose the model and complete the online procedure to rent a car. The cost is about 2,500,000 VND/car/day excluding gas. You will be given a prepaid card to pay for vehicle-related fees, including gas. After returning the car, you will be asked to pay the total cost including tax.
Eat and drink
According to Tai Pham, the food in Taiwan is mostly delicious. During the day, you can go to any restaurant to eat. But at night, you must try the diverse food with irresistible delicious flavors at the night markets everywhere in Taiwan.
