Lying at an altitude of about 4,522 m, Tso Moriri is one of the highest lakes located entirely within the Indian subcontinent and the geographical boundary of Ladakh. The word “eye candy” is not enough to describe the feeling of being surrounded by the breathtakingly majestic scenery at Tso Moriri. The beauty here is like a real dream, a magical color combination of light blue water, blue sky, mysterious brown of towering sand dunes, and the pure white of the surrounding snow-capped mountains.
Vu Nguyen believes that Tso Moriri is a destination not to be missed when traveling to Ladakh.
"When coming to Ladakh, many people often skip Tso Moriri because of the bad road (both bad and far), but this is really the most impressive destination for me. All the difficulties and fatigue of struggling with the 50km journey to get here disappear when standing in front of Tso Moriri", Vu Nguyen shared.
Let's join Vu Nguyen, a young man born in 1995, currently living and working in Binh Phuoc, to admire the beautiful autumn scenery in the Tso Moriri area:
The best time to visit Tso Moriri and see the lake in all its glorious blue glory is September - October.
The large, clear lake reflects the clouds and sky.
Tso Moriri receives water only from small mountain streams flowing down and kept in the lake bed.

The beautiful scenery here makes people think they are walking in a real dream.

Around the lake there is a small village of about a hundred houses.
