Hong Kong has launched a new campaign, “Summer Chill Hong Kong”, aiming to turn Hong Kong into a summer paradise. The “Summer Triple Reward” promotion will offer 500,000 rewards to all overnight guests, including travel/sightseeing, dining and shopping deals, worth over HK$100 million. Under the campaign, the Hong Kong Tourism Board also introduced a list of 6 new destinations, classified by experiences: Nature & Discovery, Arts & Culture, Shopping & Entertainment, and Food & Drink.

Nature & Discovery: In recent years, hiking in Hong Kong has become increasingly popular. In particular, Hong Kong owns 263 large and small islands, along with a system of 535 trails for walking, cycling and mountain biking. - Peng Chau Island: A peaceful, car-free island offering beautiful hiking trails, traditional temples and a taste of Hong Kong’s slower pace of life – a different side of the bustling island. Peng Chau is now a charming arts district with unique exhibits and vibrant graffiti, which change regularly to provide a fresh experience for visitors.

It features a 76-meter-high white bronze statue of Guanyin built on a 6-meter-high granite base. At the foot of the statue is Hong Kong's first museum dedicated to displaying Buddhist relics and cultural products. It is also used for various mindfulness activities such as tea meditation, calligraphy, walking meditation and water offerings.
