Bamboo Airways flight QH9451 brought 293 international tourists from Incheon Airport (South Korea) to Cam Ranh International Airport on the afternoon of November 25th. Among the 293 passengers, 43 were Vietnamese citizens with US and Canadian citizenship traveling under the "vaccine passport" program. Upon disembarking, the tourists received a warm welcome and souvenirs from leaders of various departments and agencies in Khanh Hoa province.
The first passengers landed at Cam Ranh airport.
Tourists will enjoy a 7-day, all-inclusive tour at Vinpearl Resort & Spa Long Beach Nha Trang, followed by visits to destinations approved by the Provincial People's Committee. Those in the group wishing to stay in Vietnam to visit relatives must register with the relevant agency for handover procedures, repatriation to their local area, and medical monitoring.
Tourists took souvenir photos with leaders of departments and agencies of Khanh Hoa province on the afternoon of November 25th.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Thanh, Director of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Tourism, said that currently, Khanh Hoa province has allowed 5 travel companies to organize tours for international tourists. In addition, several other travel companies have submitted applications and are in the process of evaluation. She also added that between November 25th and December 31st, Khanh Hoa will welcome over 40 flights with approximately 9,000 international tourists.
Khanh Hoa's tourism industry also aims to welcome approximately 163,700 visitors, including 2,600 international tourists, with tourism revenue reaching 476 billion VND in the last three months of 2021. According to the Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Tourism, as of November 25th, 36 establishments in the province have met the conditions to be allowed to receive international tourists with "vaccinated passports" and will begin welcoming international visitors from the end of November.
Earlier, a delegation from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism visited and monitored the preparations for welcoming tourists in Khanh Hoa province, and highly appreciated the readiness of the local tourism industry and businesses in the area.
