Khanh Hoa Province has requested the Naval Region 4 Command to create favorable conditions for tourism businesses and related units to welcome and serve cruise tourists to Cam Ranh International Port conveniently and quickly.
Khanh Hoa proposed that the Naval Region 4 Command support welcoming international cruise ship tourists at Cam Ranh International Port to promote local tourism.
According to Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism, Nha Trang Port - which receives most international sea passengers, is in the process of upgrading. Since September this year, international shipping lines have started choosing Cam Ranh International Port as the pick-up point for tourists. Therefore, the department has proposed to pick up tourists via Cam Ranh International Port and build a 7-hour Cam Ranh - Cam Lam tour to serve tourists going ashore.
This tour departs from Cam Ranh International Port, departs to visit Tu Van Pagoda, then goes to Suoi Tien Sheep Farm or Natural Paradise to visit sheep fields, learn about wet rice cultivation, watch traditional musical instrument performances, participate in processing and enjoy traditional dishes. Next, visitors will visit Cam Lam mango garden, drink tea and enjoy mango products.
The provincial tourism industry believes that the tour will contribute to improving the quality of destinations serving tourists.
Previously, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee also issued an official dispatch related to the development of a tour program for international cruise ship visitors to Cam Ranh International Port. In particular, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee requested Tan Cang - Petro Cam Ranh Company Limited to continue working with the Naval Region 4 Command to remove obstacles and support departments, branches, sectors and tourism businesses in the process of organizing the reception and service of cruise ship visitors to Cam Ranh International Port; proactively report and propose difficulties and problems for the Department of Tourism to synthesize and report to the Provincial People's Committee.
The provincial tourism industry believes that the tour will contribute to improving the quality of destinations serving tourists, including cruise tourists when coming to Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa; contributing to diversifying the tourist market and tourism products.
