According to statistics from Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism, in August 2024, the total number of visitors served by tourist accommodation establishments is estimated at more than 1.3 million, an increase of 33.1% over the same period in 2023. Of which, international visitors are about 416,000, domestic visitors are more than 915,000. Total revenue from tourists is estimated at 6,322.9 billion VND.

To meet this demand, the tourist transport market is also "heating up" every day. Vietnam Railways Corporation (VNR) announced that it will increase the number of passenger trains and have preferential policies for passengers buying tickets for the September 2 holiday. Specifically, on the occasion of National Day September 2 (from August 29 to September 3), passengers who buy round-trip train tickets will receive a 5% discount on the return ticket price for individuals and a 7% discount on the return ticket price for groups of 20 people or more.

In contrast to train fares, airfares tend to increase during the holidays. According to a report by the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam, Ministry of Transport, Vietnamese airlines will operate a total of 4,257 flights from August 30 to September 3, an average of 840 flights/day, an increase of 3% compared to the previous week and an increase of 3.5% compared to the same period in 2023. Of which, the average number of domestic flights is 600 flights/day, an increase of 5% compared to the previous week and an increase of 2.8% compared to the same period in 2023. The average number of international flights is 241 flights/day, a decrease of 2% compared to the previous week and an increase of 5.1% compared to the same period in 2023.
