The Hanoi Autumn Festival took place last weekend to promote the beauty, cultural and tourism values, exploit the uniqueness, attractiveness, and honor the scenic spots, relics, and heritages of the capital Hanoi - an attractive, quality, and safe tourist destination. The Hanoi Autumn Festival also introduced the unique values of craft villages and cultural heritages of Hanoi - values considered to be the quintessence of the whole country with their own distinctive features.
The Hanoi People's Committee has assigned the Hanoi Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion to be the host unit to organize the event. Coordinate with units including the Departments of Tourism, Culture and Sports, Foreign Affairs, Health, Transport, Construction, Natural Resources and Environment, City Police; People's Committees of districts: Hoan Kiem, Tay Ho, Ba Dinh, Dong Anh, Thanh Oai, Me Linh, My Duc and districts, towns with potential for tourism development.
Taking place from September 29 to October 1 at Ba Kieu Temple Flower Garden, Dinh Tien Hoang Street, Le Thach Street (Hoan Kiem District) and several districts in the city, the Festival has attracted a large number of tourists and residents because this is the most beautiful time of the year in Hanoi, suitable and ensuring the best conditions for tourists to visit, explore famous landmarks, and enjoy the unique cuisine of the thousand-year-old capital.

One of the highlights of the Hanoi Autumn Festival is the Caraval with nearly 2,000 artists, actors and locals bringing visitors a unique performance imbued with the culture of the people, taking place on the walking street around Hoan Kiem Lake on the morning of October 1.
Along with the main events such as the Festival opening, street caraval, ancient and modern wedding costume performance, children participating in painting about Hanoi... Hanoi Autumn Festival has 150 booths, many creative spaces for visitors to check-in and take photos. At the festival, many craft village products and tours were also offered by units and companies. Hanoi Tourism Corporation introduced many new tour products for the fall, such as Northeast - Northwest tourism, cultural tourism.
The culinary culture space and events in the Festival also had the participation of many restaurant and food brands of professional associations, artisans, businesses, and famous culinary establishments in Hanoi and the whole country, introducing attractive dishes such as beef pho, chicken pho, bun thang, fish cakes, green rice cakes, Ho Tay snail noodles, Phu Thuong sticky rice...
