Secretary of State Antony Blinken visited a classic-style cafe renovated from an old villa on Hang Bun Street.
Welcoming the US Secretary of State's delegation were Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son and Director of State Protocol Nguyen Viet Dung. About 10 people in the delegation sat at a large round table on the second floor of the cafe.

Mr. Antony Blinken ordered egg coffee, which is also one of the most famous dishes of this cafe. The cafe's egg coffee has been modified to become the "key" dish on the menu, with the flavor of Robusta coffee roasted fresh daily, using local chicken eggs. The delicate point is that the egg coffee is kept warm in the cafe's own egg-shaped cups.
After nearly an hour of sitting at the cafe enjoying coffee and chatting, the US Secretary of State thanked and shook hands with each staff member before leaving. Outside, Mr. Antony Blinken also smiled and waved to the people watching from afar.

This is Mr. Blinken's fourth visit to Vietnam and his second as US Secretary of State. Previously, during his visit to Vietnam in April 2023, he walked around Trang Tien Street, listened to jazz music at artist Quyen Van Minh's club; and enjoyed fried spring rolls, fried shrimp and pork belly rice, and drank beer at a restaurant in the alley.
