Foreign Secretary Antony Blinken visited a vintage-style cafe renovated from an old villa on Hang Bun Street.
Welcoming the US Secretary of State's delegation were Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son and Director of State Protocol Nguyen Viet Dung. Approximately 10 members of the delegation sat at a large round table on the second floor of the café.

Antony Blinken ordered egg coffee, which is also one of the cafe's most famous items. The cafe's egg coffee has been modified to become a signature item on the menu, featuring freshly roasted Robusta coffee beans and free-range chicken eggs. The unique touch is that the egg coffee is kept warm in the cafe's specially designed egg-shaped cups.
After spending nearly an hour at the cafe enjoying coffee and conversation, the US Secretary of State thanked and shook hands with each staff member before leaving. Outside, Antony Blinken also smiled and waved to the people watching from a distance.
Egg coffee is the shop's signature drink, priced at 69,000 VND per cup. The shop also offers a unique salted egg coffee version. Photo: All Day Coffee
This is Mr. Blinken's fourth visit to Vietnam and his second as US Secretary of State. Previously, during his visit to Vietnam in April 2023, he strolled around Trang Tien Street, listened to jazz music at artist Quyen Van Minh's club, and enjoyed fried spring rolls, rice in a clay pot with shrimp and pork belly, and beer at a restaurant in an alley.
