After being collected at Bay Canh Island, 99 turtle eggs were transferred by Con Dao National Park to Six Senses Con Dao on June 3rd for conservation and care, and subsequently, a total of 99 hatchlings were released back into the ocean.
Upon receiving the eggs, the conservation team at the resort gathers and cares for the turtle nests using natural methods to ensure the eggs are always in the best possible condition. The research team continuously monitors the sand temperature to control the hatching rate and protect the hatchlings from natural predators.

Over the past three years, in collaboration with Con Dao National Park, Six Senses Con Dao's Let's Get Cracking artificial hatchery has become a sanctuary for many newly hatched turtles. As the only resort in the country authorized to work with relevant authorities on sea turtle conservation, the hatchery has released more than 7,000 hatchlings back into the sea to date.

A total of 99 newly hatched turtles were released into the ocean from 99 eggs in a single incubation period. This record-breaking hatching rate demonstrates the efforts of the resort and the National Park in conserving this rare species.
