Dalat’s crispy persimmon season lasts for more than 4 months at the end of the year. Starting from August, when the persimmons are still green, until mid-December, the persimmons begin to be harvested, leaving the tree trunks bare and gradually losing their leaves after the beginning of winter. This is also the time most tourists choose to create “so-deep” photo sets, when the tree trunks are bare and only have a pair of ripe persimmons left.

The end of the persimmon season is also the time when Da Lat enters the coldest period. Waking up early at the homestay, curling up in a thick coat, watching the lingering rains of the night still linger on the branches and leaves, reaching out to pick the last red persimmons on the tree is an indescribable feeling of joy.

Or, on the way to visit the suburbs, you will see many rose gardens of local people growing along the road. If you are interested, you can go into the house and ask permission to take pictures of the rose garden, as long as you do not climb or pick fruit haphazardly. In case of luck, you will be able to directly participate in the process of harvesting or drying roses with the garden owner.
