The Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2025 is approaching, promising a brilliant and memorable summer for the beautiful coastal city. This grand event will take place from May 31 to July 12, bringing to the audience spectacular fireworks displays with the theme "Danang - The New Rising Era".
The year 2025 marks an important historical milestone for Da Nang, the 50th anniversary of the city's liberation. Therefore, DIFF 2025 is not only a fireworks festival, but also an event with a strong historical and cultural imprint, conveying a message about the transition of the era, affirming the city's aspirations and determination to rise in the new development stage.
DIFF 2025 with the theme "Danang - The New Rising Era" will be held from May 31 to July 12, 2025.
With the theme "Da Nang - A New Era", DIFF 2025 represents the city's vision for prosperous development, while also striving to mark Da Nang's position on the international tourism map. The elaborately invested fireworks displays, combined with modern music and lighting, promise to bring the audience unforgettable experiences.
In terms of scale, the stands and the number of seats are expected to be equivalent to DIFF 2024, ensuring comfortable space and the best view for the audience. In addition to the brilliant fireworks displays, DIFF 2025 also promises to bring many other attractive activities, including vibrant live concerts, advanced virtual reality technology applications and sparkling light parties on the Han River.
10 international teams will compete in the longest fireworks festival in Da Nang's history.
In particular, audiences will have the opportunity to admire elaborate fireworks displays prepared by teams from countries with the world's leading fireworks traditions. The combination of skillful techniques and unique creative ideas promises to create eye-catching and captivating performances.
Vietnam has 2 participating teams including Danang Fireworks Team and Z121 Vina Pyrotech Team - Vietnam Ministry of Defense.
Although a "newbie" of DIFF, Z121 Vina Pyrotech will be an extremely formidable and unpredictable candidate with nearly 30 years of experience in manufacturing and exporting fireworks.
2025 is the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Da Nang city, therefore, DIFF 2025 carries a message of transition of era, affirming the city's aspirations and determination in the new period.
Two Vietnamese teams will take turns "opening" DIFF, with the Da Nang team opening DIFF in a competition with the reigning DIFF 2024 champion - Finland. Meanwhile, Z121 Vina Pyrotech will continue the second night of competition in a competition with the team from Poland.
The remaining eight teams include Joho Pyro Professional Fireworks AB from Finland - DIFF 2024 Champion, Firma Rodzinna - Surex from Poland; Faseecom from South Korea; Macedos Pirotecnia LDA from Portugal; Firma Rodzinna - Surex from Poland; Liuyang Jingduan New-art Display from China; Pyrotex Firewor from the UK and Martarello Group SRL from Italy.
According to the announcement, to enjoy the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival - DIFF 2025, audiences can choose tickets between 5 grandstand classes, from A3 to A VIP. Specifically, the lowest price will be A3 grandstand with the price of 1,000,000 VND. A2 and A1 grandstands cost 1,500,000 VND. A grandstand costs 2,000,000 VND and the highest ticket price class is A VIP grandstand, with the price of 3,500,000 VND.
Ticket prices for the event are publicly announced.
Ticket prices apply to visitors 1m or taller. Visitors under 1m tall are exempt from DIFF tickets on the condition that they must sit in the same seat as an adult. If they sit separately, they must buy tickets like adults. For the final night on July 12, 2025, DIFF 2025 will add the A4 stand and have a higher ticket price than the remaining nights. Specifically, the lowest ticket price is 1,300,000 VND for stands A4 and A3. Stands A2 and A1 cost 2,000,000 VND. Stand A costs 2,500,000 VND and stand A VIP costs 4,500,000 VND.

The 2004 Da Nang International Fireworks Festival lasted for more than a month, combined with a series of other major events, attracting a large number of domestic and international tourists, continuing to affirm the brand "Asia's leading festival and event city".
The total number of visitors served by tourist accommodation establishments during the 5 days of the DIFF 2024 fireworks festival reached 360,662 (an increase of 12% compared to DIFF 2023). In particular, the total number of visitors served by Da Nang tourist accommodation establishments during more than 1 month of the DIFF 2024 International Fireworks Festival reached more than 1.5 million, an increase of 60% compared to DIFF 2023. Revenue from accommodation, food and beverage and travel services of Da Nang city in June 2024 is estimated at 16,344 billion VND, an increase of 28.2% over the same period in 2023.
