The Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2025 is fast approaching, promising a dazzling and memorable summer for this beautiful coastal city. This spectacular event will take place from May 31st to July 12th, offering audiences breathtaking fireworks displays with the theme "Danang - The New Rising Era".
2025 marks a significant historical milestone for Da Nang, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the city's liberation. Therefore, DIFF 2025 is not just a simple fireworks festival, but also an event deeply rooted in history and culture, conveying a message of transition to a new era and affirming the city's aspirations and determination to thrive in this new phase of development.
DIFF 2025, with the theme “Danang – The New Rising Era”, will be held from May 31st to July 12th, 2025.
With the theme "Da Nang - A New Era," DIFF 2025 showcases the city's vision for prosperous development, while also striving to establish Da Nang's position on the international tourism map. The elaborately staged fireworks displays, combined with modern music and lighting, promise to provide audiences with unforgettable experiences.
In terms of scale, the grandstands and seating capacity are expected to be similar to DIFF 2024, ensuring comfortable space and the best views for the audience. Besides the spectacular fireworks displays, DIFF 2025 also promises many other attractive activities, including vibrant live concerts, advanced virtual reality applications, and dazzling light shows on the Han River.
Ten international teams will compete in Da Nang's longest-running fireworks festival in history.
In particular, audiences will have the opportunity to admire elaborate fireworks displays prepared by teams from countries with leading fireworks traditions. The combination of skillful techniques and unique creative ideas promises to create spectacular and captivating performances.
Vietnam has two strong teams participating: the Danang Fireworks Team and the Z121 Vina Pyrotech - Vietnam Ministry of Defence Team (Chemical Company No. 21 - Ministry of Defence).
Despite being a "newcomer" to DIFF, Z121 Vina Pyrotech will be a formidable and unpredictable contender with nearly 30 years of experience in fireworks production and export.
2025 marks the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Da Nang city; therefore, DIFF 2025 carries the message of transition to a new era, affirming the aspirations and determination of the city in the new phase.
Two Vietnamese teams will take turns "opening" DIFF, with the Da Nang team kicking off the DIFF in a competition against the reigning DIFF 2024 champion - Finland. Meanwhile, Z121 Vina Pyrotech will continue with the second night of competition against the team from Poland.
The remaining eight teams include Joho Pyro Professional Fireworks AB from Finland - the DIFF 2024 champion; Firma Rodzinna - Surex from Poland; Faseecom from South Korea; Macedos Pirotecnia LDA from Portugal; Firma Rodzinna - Surex from Poland; Liuyang Jingduan New-art Display from China; Pyrotex Fireworks from the United Kingdom; and Martarello Group SRL from Italy.
According to the announcement, to enjoy the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival - DIFF 2025, spectators can choose tickets from five grandstand categories, from A3 to A VIP. Specifically, the lowest price will be for grandstand A3 at 1,000,000 VND. Grandstands A2 and A1 are priced at 1,500,000 VND. Grandstand A is priced at 2,000,000 VND, and the highest price is for grandstand A VIP, at 3,500,000 VND.
The event ticket price list is publicly available.
The ticket prices apply to visitors 1 meter tall and above. Visitors under 1 meter tall are free to enter DIFF, provided they share a seat with an adult; if they sit separately, they must purchase a ticket at the adult price. Specifically, on the final night, July 12th, 2025, DIFF 2025 will add Stand A4, with slightly higher ticket prices than the other nights. The lowest ticket price is 1,300,000 VND for Stands A4 and A3. Stands A2 and A1 are priced at 2,000,000 VND. Stand A is priced at 2,500,000 VND, and Stand A VIP is priced at 4,500,000 VND.
This year, the size of the stands and the number of seats are expected to be similar to DIFF 2024. Besides anticipating live concerts, there will also be virtual reality applications…
The Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2004, which lasted for over a month and combined with a series of other major events, attracted a large number of domestic and international tourists, further solidifying its reputation as "Asia's leading city of festivals and events".
The total number of visitors served by tourist accommodation establishments during the 5 days of the DIFF 2024 fireworks festival reached 360,662 (a 12% increase compared to DIFF 2023). Notably, the total number of visitors served by Da Nang's tourist accommodation establishments over the more than one month of the DIFF 2024 International Fireworks Festival reached over 1.5 million, a 60% increase compared to DIFF 2023. Revenue from accommodation, food, and travel services in Da Nang city in June 2024 is estimated at VND 16,344 billion, a 28.2% increase compared to the same period in 2023.
