In the summer of April 2023, Xanh Camping officially launched in Phu Yen, becoming one of the pioneering organizations in developing green tourism in Phu Yen. It's not just about exploring new places; it's also an invitation to protect and preserve nature. From pristine camping trips to practical community activities, this model is gradually establishing its position in the sustainable tourism trend that is increasingly attracting the attention of tourists.

It originated from a passion for backpacking and pride in one's hometown.
Known by the nickname "Tai Bui" (meaning "Hidden Treasure"), Le Quy Tai has long been involved in backpacking trips, leading his companions along pristine, untouched paths. When deciding to start an experiential tourism business in Phu Yen, Tai shared: "Xanh Camping is not just a camping service; it's our way of bringing people back to nature, to the core values of Phu Yen – a place that hasn't been over-exploited, where people still preserve its unspoiled beauty." That's why Tai chose his hometown to begin this entrepreneurial journey.

Phu Yen's nature is breathtakingly beautiful.
Phu Yen - an ideal destination for experiential tourism.
Phu Yen is famous for its long, white sandy beaches, pristine forests, and crystal-clear waterfalls. Its unspoiled, undeveloped nature is what attracts tourists. However, according to Tai, Xanh Camping doesn't organize many overnight camping activities because it requires a team with experience and in-depth knowledge of the geography, as well as ensuring the safety of tourists.
Phu Yen is not only famous for its stunning landscapes but also for the pristine and unspoiled nature of its tourist destinations.
However, daytime excursions are always very popular, especially among middle-aged customers and their families. "Families come here to experience peace and closeness to nature, from bathing in the crystal-clear waters of De Nhat Thac to enjoying dishes prepared on the spot from fresh ingredients," Tai shared.
What's special is that the activities here not only include exploring nature but also sharing sessions on how to protect the environment. Each Xanh Camping trip usually includes a local guide, who shares interesting stories about the life and culture of Phu Yen, as well as ways to minimize negative impacts on the environment.
Many families are turning to eco-tourism to immerse themselves in and connect with nature.
Green tourism - the future trend of Vietnam's tourism industry.
According to the latest report from the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), sustainable tourism is increasingly gaining prominence among global travelers. More than 50% of surveyed travelers indicated they prioritize tours that focus on environmental protection and local community development. This figure reflects a significant shift in consumer behavior, as they are not only seeking enjoyable trips but also a desire to make a positive contribution to protecting the planet.
In Vietnam, this trend is also gaining strong support, including from Xanh Camping. Tài explains that Xanh's model is not simply about camping, but a lifestyle, a message of respect for nature. "We not only take tourists to beautiful places but also help them understand the value of environmental protection. Actions like picking up trash on the beach or bringing green mesh bags to collect plastic waste on Đá Bia mountain are activities we do regularly," Tài shared.

Tai shared that Xanh's signature tours are always associated with fun, relaxation, and nature, where tourists can unwind and find peace of mind. Typical activities include swimming in the stream at De Nhat Thac, paddleboarding at Vuc Phun, exploring Hon Yen and Hon Nua islands, or enjoying a meal in the forest.

What sets Xanh Camping apart is the passion and responsibility of its founding team. All activities are thoroughly researched and tested before being offered to tourists. "I always want to experience it myself and be satisfied before recommending it to others," Tài shared.

Developing tourism to protect the environment and promote community growth.
Xanh Camping not only contributes to nature conservation but also partners with local communities in charitable projects. One notable initiative is the "Autumn for Children" project, where Tai and the Xanh team collected plastic bottles on the mountain and made recycled lanterns to donate to underprivileged children. These small actions are creating a significant impact on the community, while also encouraging tourists and locals to participate in environmental protection.

Through practical actions and a passionate love for nature, Le Quy Tai and Xanh Camping have been creating positive changes not only in tourism but also in protecting and preserving precious natural values.
Thus, this is not just a simple green tourism model, but also part of a sustainable tourism trend, contributing to the development of Phu Yen and protecting invaluable natural values. Under the leadership of Le Quy Tai and his dynamic team, this model is helping to open a new chapter in the tourism industry of Phu Yen in particular and Vietnam in general, with tour programs that not only provide memorable experiences but also inspire people to be aware of protecting nature and the community.
