Vietnam-Korea Cultural and Food Festival 2018

The Vietnam-Korea Cultural and Food Festival will take place from November 30th to December 2nd at Starlake Urban Area, Tay Ho Tay, Hanoi, featuring over 100 booths showcasing traditional dishes and culinary culture from both countries.

This is an annual event aimed at strengthening friendly relations between the two countries, jointly organized by the Korean Embassy in Vietnam, the Hanoi People's Committee, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and leading businesses in Korea.

According to the organizers, the 2018 Vietnam-Korea Cultural and Food Festival will feature more than 100 booths from Vietnam and Korea, showcasing traditional dishes and cuisine from both countries to visitors.

This year's festival also features performances by famous Korean artists such as: Haha, Skull, Byul (a representative female ballad singer from Korea), R&B singer Jeebanoff, Hip Hop singer Zizo, Reggae singer M.Tyson, and Trot (a Korean Pop genre) singer Maasung.

This festival also includes cultural exchange programs such as the Korean-Vietnamese Talent Search Contest, a performance by the Vietnamese dance group Lotus, a Korean-Vietnamese cooking class, a performance by the Korean dance group Cycle, and a cheerleading dance group supporting the Vietnamese national football team.
