To facilitate activities commemorating the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd, the Hanoi City Police Department announces a comprehensive plan for rehearsals, preliminary rehearsals, and final rehearsals of the parade and march, along with strict road closures on many routes in the city from August 21st to September 2nd, 2025. Citizens and organizations should pay attention to the times and scope of the road closures to proactively adjust their travel plans and activities accordingly.
Accordingly, the combined parade and march rehearsals will take place at 8 PM on August 21st and 8 PM on August 24th (tentative). The preliminary rehearsal will be at 8 PM on August 27th. The general rehearsal will be at 6:30 AM on August 30th. The official ceremony will take place at 6:30 AM on September 2nd.
On August 21st, the organizing committee will conduct the first rehearsal. To ensure security and safety, the Hanoi City Police have adjusted the traffic flow schedule, including the time for vehicle bans, temporary bans, and restrictions, from 11:30 AM on August 21st to 3:00 AM on August 22nd (5 hours and 30 minutes earlier than previously announced).

Traffic participants should be self-aware and comply with the instructions of the authorities, staying on the sidewalk and not encroaching onto the road to obstruct parades and processions. When encountering priority vehicles signaling to perform their duties, they should quickly move to the right side of the road, stop completely, or turn into the nearest side roads or intersections to give way to the priority vehicles.
