To serve the activities for the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, Hanoi City Police announced a plan to practice, rehearse, and march, and completely ban many roads in the area from August 21 to September 2, 2025. People and organizations need to pay attention to the time and scope of the banned roads to proactively adjust their itinerary and appropriate activities.
Accordingly, the general rehearsal for the parade will take place at 8:00 p.m. on August 21 and 8:00 p.m. on August 24 (expected). The preliminary rehearsal will take place at 8:00 p.m. on August 27. The general rehearsal will take place at 6:30 a.m. on August 30. The official ceremony will take place at 6:30 a.m. on September 2.
On August 21, the organizing committee will conduct the first comprehensive practice. To ensure security and safety, Hanoi City Police have adjusted the traffic flow time, banning, temporarily banning and restricting vehicles from 11:30 on August 21 to 3:00 on August 22 (5 hours and 30 minutes earlier than previously announced).

Traffic participants need to be self-aware, follow the instructions of the authorities, stay on the sidewalk, do not spill onto the road to obstruct the parades and marches. When encountering priority vehicles signaling to perform a task, they need to quickly move close to the right side of the road, stop completely or change direction to the nearest crossroads or intersections to give way to the priority vehicles.
