Over 14 editions, the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Golden Voice Festival has become a healthy artistic platform for exchange among tourism students from universities, colleges, and vocational schools; and for staff, employees, tour guides, receptionists, and chefs from tourism businesses in Ho Chi Minh City and other provinces. It provides an opportunity for those involved in tourism to network, meet, and support each other, while also discovering talented singers to contribute to the city's cultural and artistic activities.
With the theme "Homeland's Seas and Islands," the Organizing Committee of the 15th Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Industry Golden Voice Festival - 2019 received enthusiastic participation from 20 units with 48 entries, including 3 themed programs. The entries revolved around songs praising the contributions of the Party and President Ho Chi Minh in the cause of protecting and building the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, reflecting the spirit of "Learning and following the thoughts, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh," and celebrating the homeland and country with its scenic landscapes associated with the activities of the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Industry and Vietnamese tourism.
The 2019 Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Industry Golden Voice Festival took place over two nights, April 2nd and 3rd, 2019, at the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Cultural Center. Following this, the Organizing Committee selected outstanding performances to be showcased at the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival, held from April 11th to 14th, 2019, and awarded prizes at the closing ceremony of the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival on the evening of April 14th, 2019, at 23/9 Park.
