The program was broadcast live on VTV8, Vietnam Television, and many other online platforms. According to the organizers, the Miss Tourism Vietnam 2024 competition was launched in May 2024 with over 300 applications. After two preliminary rounds, 60 outstanding contestants were selected to advance to the semi-finals. In the semi-finals held in Sa Pa town, Lao Cai province, the organizers found the 40 best contestants to move on to the final round.
The Miss Tourism Vietnam 2024 final attracted over 5,000 spectators from across the country to Cam Pha city.
In the Grand Finale, the contestants went through three rounds of competition: traditional Vietnamese dress, bikini, and evening gown. Besides the contestants' performances, the Grand Finale also featured famous singers such as Ho Ngoc Ha, Tuan Hung, and Ung Hoang Phuc, who delivered vibrant musical performances on a large stage with modern sound and lighting, creating an electrifying atmosphere for the audience.

Outperforming over 300 contestants in the qualifying rounds, Pham Thi Ngoc Quynh from Hai Duong was crowned Miss Tourism Vietnam 2024. The new Miss Tourism Vietnam 2024, from Hai Duong province, is currently a student majoring in English at the Foreign Trade University (based in Hanoi) and works as a content creator.
The two runners-up are Huynh Kim Anh from Ho Chi Minh City, a student at Saigon Tourism College; and Le Thi Anh Tuyet from Nghe An, a student at Vinh University.
The new Miss Tourism Vietnam 2024 is from Hai Duong province.

Besides the Top 3, the organizers also awarded 9 special prizes including: Most Popular Beauty; Most Talented Beauty; Most Charming Face Beauty; Best Evening Gown Beauty; Best Physique Beauty; Best Ao Dai Beauty; Most Compassionate Beauty; Best Fashion Beauty; and Most Inspiring Beauty. Prior to this, within the framework of the Final round, the contestants began their journey of exploring tourism and experiencing the culture of the Quang Ninh mining region; visiting, experiencing, and offering incense at the "Cua Ong Temple Relic Site"; paying tribute to the heroic soldiers and those who contributed to the revolution at the "Vung Duc Cave Tourist Area"; offering incense at the Ho Chi Minh relic site; and visiting the Deo Nai mine - Deo Nai Coal Company.
40 contestants also participated in the activity "Cleaning the marine environment, preventing and combating plastic waste," in response to the movement to build "Cam Pha City - A city without waste, clean, beautiful and safe."
