The program was broadcast live on VTV8 channel of Vietnam Television and many other online platforms. According to the Organizing Committee, the Miss Tourism Vietnam 2024 contest was launched in May 2024 with more than 300 registrations. After two preliminary rounds, 60 excellent contestants were selected to enter the Semi-finals. At the Semi-finals held in Sa Pa town, Lao Cai province, the Organizing Committee found the 40 best contestants to enter the Final round.
The final round of Miss Tourism Vietnam 2024 attracted over 5,000 spectators from all over the country to Cam Pha city.
In the Final night, the contestants took turns performing in 3 rounds including Ao Dai, Bikini and Evening Gown. In addition to the contestants' performances, the Final night also featured the participation of famous singers such as: Ho Ngoc Ha, Tuan Hung, Ung Hoang Phuc... with vibrant musical performances on a large stage with modern sound and lighting design, creating a fiery atmosphere for the audience.

Surpassing more than 300 contestants in the qualifying rounds, contestant Pham Thi Ngoc Quynh from Hai Duong was crowned Miss Tourism Vietnam 2024. The new Miss Tourism Vietnam 2024 comes from Hai Duong province, currently a student of the English Language Department, Foreign Trade University (headquartered in Hanoi) - working as a content creator.
The two runners-up are Huynh Kim Anh from Ho Chi Minh City, a student at Saigon College of Tourism; and Le Thi Anh Tuyet from Nghe An, a student at Vinh University.
The new Miss Tourism Vietnam 2024 comes from Hai Duong province.

In addition to the Top 3, the Organizing Committee also awarded 9 subsidiary prizes including: Most Favorite Beauty; Talented Beauty; Lovely Face; Evening Gown Beauty; Body Beauty; Ao Dai Beauty; Charity Beauty; Fashion Beauty; Inspirational Beauty. Before that, within the framework of the Final round, the contestants began their journey to explore tourism and experience culture in the mining land of Quang Ninh; visit, experience and offer incense at "Cua Ong Temple Relic Site"; pay tribute to heroic soldiers who contributed to the revolution at "Vung Duc Cave Tourist Area", offer incense at Uncle Ho's relic and visit Deo Nai Mine - Deo Nai Coal Company.
40 contestants also participated in the activity "Cleaning the marine environment, preventing and combating plastic waste", responding to the movement to build "Cam Pha City - A city without waste, clean, beautiful and safe".
