Malaysia Airlines expands its international network with a new direct flight from Kuala Lumpur to Doha.

Malaysia Airlines is expanding its international network with a new direct flight to the long-awaited destination of Doha, becoming the third Middle Eastern destination the airline flies to, after Jeddah and Madinah, with the flight effective from May 25, 2022.

The new flight will provide passengers with seamless connections via Hamad International Airport, enabling optimal transit to the United States, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, through a codeshare partnership with Qatar Airways. Currently, Malaysia Airlines and Qatar Airways offer 62 codeshare destinations across Malaysia, Southeast Asia, Australia, New Zealand, the Middle East, Europe, the United States, and Africa.

Malaysia Airlines operates daily direct flights between Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL) and Hamad International Airport, Doha (DOH) with flight number MH160 departing from KUL to DOH at 9:20 PM and MH161 departing from DOH to KUL at 1:30 AM. Each daily flight is operated by an A330-300 aircraft with 290 seats, including 27 Business Class seats, 16 Economy Class seats with extra legroom, and 247 Economy Class seats.
