Kyrgyzstan, once located on the ancient Silk Road, borders China, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. Most of Kyrgyzstan's borders run along mountain peaks. With beautiful nature, cool climate and majestic mountains, this country is known as the Switzerland of Asia.
Kyrgyzstan is an interesting tourist destination but has not received as much attention as other countries. However, that is also the point that creates the difference and uniqueness that makes Kyrgyzstan become wild and mysterious waiting for tourists to discover for themselves.
Kyrgyzstan is considered a masterpiece of nature with spectacular landscapes ranging from endless grasslands to snow-capped mountains and magnificent lakes...
All of these create a truly adventurous land for visitors to experience like a nomad: riding horses on the steppe, watching eagles hunt, skiing, building yurts and cooking with nomads, exploring the Islamic culture of Central Asia, learning about ancient traditional cultures... Because of its wildness and uniqueness, people often compare Kyrgyzstan to a green gem of the world waiting for visitors to conquer and explore.

Nguyen Anh Tuan (Hanoi) recently visited the Kyrgyzstan steppe. During this trip, he visited places in Kyrgyzstan such as: Bishkek Capital, Burana Tower - the remaining relic that was once part of the legendary Silk Road, Issyk kul Lake - the second largest mountain lake in the world with a length of 182 km, Skazka red sandstone mountain, Chon kemin valley, Barskaun valley - with scenery like in Switzerland, Karakol, Altyn Arashan village, Jyrgalan village with scenery like a fairyland.
Kyrgyzstan is considered to have the most snow-capped peaks and highland grasslands in the world. The country has more than 80 mountain ranges, covering more than 70% of its territory. Many impressive valleys and plains stretch for miles. Nature is everywhere in Kyrgyzstan.

Snow-capped mountains
“All of these locations bring to Kyrgyzstan a country with a very diverse terrain. A place with high snow-capped mountains, vast deserts and steppes. A place with red sandstone mountains, sand dunes and deep blue lakes. All of them have created a trip with many special experiences about this country,” Anh Tuan shared.
As a tour operator, Anh Tuan said that Kyrgyzstan tourism is currently becoming a very popular destination for tourists. Entering Kyrgyzstan is also very simple because Vietnamese people are exempted from visas. The languages spoken in Kyrgyzstan are mainly Kyrgyz and Russian, English is rarely used.
Regarding transportation, Kyrgyzstan is still poor and has not focused on tourism development, so there are not many public transportations in this country. Therefore, on the recent trip, Anh Tuan's group rented a car from a land tour company in Kyrgyzstan to travel throughout the journey.
Spring on the roads of Kyrgyzstan

People in Kyrgyzstan are said to be extremely friendly and hospitable.
Talking about cuisine, Anh Tuan said that in Kyrgyzstan in particular and Central Asia in general, the food here is quite delicious and suitable for the taste of Vietnamese people. The Kyrgyz people have a nomadic lifestyle for generations, so the dishes here will mostly be kept for a long time. The dishes here are often made from lamb, beef, and chicken. Some famous dishes of Kyrgyzstan include: Shashlyk grilled meat, Manti dumplings, traditional Shurpa soup, Men karyn chilled sliced horse stomach, Chuchuk smoked horse sausage...
“What is even more special about this trip to Kyrgyzstan is that it falls in the spring, so the grass, trees and flowers are budding. Everywhere seems to be covered in fresh green. Peach trees, apple trees and cherry trees are blooming white on both sides of the road. All of it creates a very majestic and poetic scene,” said Anh Tuan.
